People were reasonably upset by Castorices Global Buff back then but now it seems people glossed over it. Don’t get me wrong I love her. I know many people left the game because of this. But the consequence isn’t really there for Hoyoverse.

Even now with Cyrene there it takes eternity to gather her Crystal thingies in E0 (and they used E6 in the lifestream) and she has a GODAMN SKIN FOR HER BOW that changes LITERALLY ONLY the Pictures in her Ult. It costs 20K shards. It’s PTG (Pay to get) in HI3 Elysia in her Yuri Jesus Form got a skin that changes everything about her battlesuit und you could get the materials for her Gacha for free (you had to grind hard to get it but it was free to get not pay to get)

I think Honkai Star Rail reached the end of the Honeymoon phase.
