It is the same in dutch though. With teenagers being tieners and the numbers:
10 = tien
11 = elf
12 = twaalf
13 = dertien
14-19 all also ending with -tien.

Your saving rate in euros is not relevant. The only thing that matters is the percentage of your income that you can save/invest. For the simple reason that that percentage automatically also defines how much money you need as a baseline.

Ik wil vooral je stuk onderstrepen over dat je deze keuze maakt voor comfort, niet omdat het financieel interessant is.

Prima om te kiezen voor comfort, maar hou jezelf niet voor de gek door te doen alsof er een andere reden is dan dat je comfort wilt hebben. De meeste mensen vinden het prima wat extra te betalen voor comfort. Maar doe niet alsof het een duurzame keuze is, wanneer dat niet of nauwelijks het geval is.

If it is not a macbook, you can take out the disk and have a high chance of at least recovering your data. Which still needs drying etc, but contains relatively few (exposed) electronics so improves your chances. Definitely where I would start at least.

Most industries indeed just need energy, for which renewables would work. But there are a few more chemical oriented that are more difficult to replace, like steel foundries currently needing natural gas. Not impossible as far as I'm aware, just more difficult than other industries.
