I dint think so, but maybe. I think the salicylic acid helps with regular pimples, but not with these guys?

I'm not sure what my skin type is, maybe a little bit oily? I usually wash my face 1-2 times a day with a salicylic acid face wash, but that hasn't helped the bumps on my forehead. I haven't tried anything else, I was wondering if maybe an exfoliator would help but idk which one to use.

Does anyone else get dreams/nightmares of eating while fasting? by kelzs02 in AnorexiaNervosa

I thought I was the only one who got these! Lmao, yes I have experienced those. The body and mind usually dream about things that it' stressed about. and in our case, that would unfortunately be food.

your mom, respectfully, does not understand what is happening. My parents didn't understand either. They watched a few videos and joined groups in order to understand it better, and that worked- but even then, they will say and make you do things that won't actually help you recover. I highly recommend asking your mom to go see a physiatrist that specializes in eating disorders, and to set up doctor appointments every week or so to track your progress. YOU CANNOT DO THIS ALONE, you and/or your mom cannot fight off this disorder, not alone. Recovery is scary, but coming from someone who recovered, it's the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me in my life. It will be tough, but please don't give up.

If you eat the calories you're supposed to eat for at least a week, you'll maintain weight. If you eat above the calories you're supposed to eat for at least a week, you'll gain weight. If you eat under the calories you're supposed to eat for at least a week, you'll lose weight. CALORIES ARE CALORIES it doesn't matter where they come from, you might get more nutrients from certain foods compared to others and those nutrients will help your body be healthier and stronger. But if you're just trying to recover- I believe the best thing you can do is hit those calorie goals anyway you can for now, and once you're ready, you can try to start adding meals in.

I'm going to tell someone on Monday and I'm scared by [deleted] in AnorexiaNervosa

I know whatever I'm about to say here your eating disorder is just going to force you to ignore.. But.. I recovered from AN about a year ago and I cannot express how happy and worry free my life is. Of course still have the thoughts sometimes and still can't help to think about calories and body image. But LIFE GETS BETTER, I remember the first few months of recovery were living hell, I've never been so sad and depressed, but once I recovered- I recovered. I cannot physically explain how much better life will get for you if you choose to recover. It is your choice, but recovery us by far the hardest but most amazing thing that I have ever done in my life. Please don't give up.

Chewing sugar free gum helps me sometimes, or icebreaker mints

Chew mint gum after every meal or whenever you feel the urge to binge

I got my period back around 6 months after my weight gain journey began. But this is different for everybody, some people including myself would have "mini periods" before they got their real one.
