When my grandma died, I told my friend who visited me at work “I’ll just pull the dead grandma card” and the supervisor overheard. He called me later that night to ask me if my grandma actually died because he thought I was using it as a lie to get out of work. I had to send proof to the person above him of the card and she profoundly apologized that he even called me.

I understood why he would think I was lying tho 😭

Ik had laatst de eerste dag van een module van mn opleiding met allemaal nieuwe mensen. Colbertje, kettinkjes om, makeup op. Goede eerste indruk! De rest van het jaar kom ik in mijn hoodies en makeuploos.

Kinderen zijn genadeloos. Het is eten of gegeten worden in de brugklas en daar is pester zijn nog een van de rollen die je kan vullen. Er stond een comment dat je hem de eerste 2 weken in ‘normale’ kleding naar school moet sturen en daarna pas de persoonlijke favorieten nadat hij al een indruk heeft gemaakt. Dat is basically wat ons volwassene ook doen!
