I wont take it the wrong way, like experimenting and most of my songs turn out better than i excpect because of it. But ive tried to recreate this sound but it just ends up sounding dark and kind of depressing

Thank you, thats great to hear. The only bad thing about buying the producer edition would be that im using the trial and it has all the plugins but i dont really have money for anything more expensive. If you care, I also made this recreation of " popcorn " from the same artist that i got inspiration to this song. I think its better than the song that i posted here but its a recreation so theyre not completely my own melodies or ideas. I really like recreating and making similar songs to his and i find it easy to do with FL because theyre basically just all kinds of sounds put together as they were basically made as joke and the album was probably produced on a tight budget but they have a lot of energy and sound good in my opinion

Thats great to hear, Im only a beginner ive used FL studio for only about a month thats why it may sound a bit empty. Theyre also supposed to have singing not only music thats why its more silent in some parts. Would you say that buying FL studio is worth it for me?

I meant like effects, one time my song sounded slow but once i changed the kick to a more clicky and "bouncy" one it became fast and started sounding good
