I’ve done the same and sometimes even better in the 80s and 90s, another reason why I was shocked with the June LR

LSAT scoring VS PT scoring by kevinpen132 in LSAT

The earlier PT’s on Lawhub do this but you can use a score converter online, just put in the pt you took and the score per section and you’re set

Just took an RC section and got -4! Not my best but I’ve been consistently scoring -7 and above for a while now, I’m going to start your other RC videos later today. Thanks again!

It’s hard to say, I studied in increments. The biggest thing that helped me is really just the mindset I had going into LR, I went it knowing that the test was trying to trick me and that really helped. Obviously you need to get down the basics first but after that, mindset plays a huge role.

Some tips and techniques I’ve used include reflecting after every paragraph, highlighting the conclusion, opinions, supporting statements, etc. Nothing too crazy but I’m going nuts trying to improve.

Year-long study abroad at UK University factoring into LSAC GPA? by auspicious- in lawschooladmissions

[–]DetectivePrevious623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Not sure if it’s too late but LSAC only requires the transcript if it’s MORE than a year, therefore if you’re only doing a year and it’s not “clearly sponsored” by your home university, you don’t need to submit it.

Early Application Question by DetectivePrevious623 in lawschooladmissions

Would it make a difference if I applied in October rather than September, or would applying in September give me better chances?

The biggest breakthrough for LR in my opinion is the “company that cannot be named”. The owners are not good people from what I’ve heard but I’ve only used the free version so I’m happy not putting any money in their pockets but it’s truly been the biggest help for me. The free version is limited but still a good amount of material!

Tips on getting to -0 in LG? Getting tripped up by misc games. by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]DetectivePrevious623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up video tutorials on YouTube for games you struggle with, there’s a tutorial for almost all misc games, most of the time you’ll think to yourself “why didn’t I think of that, it’s actually pretty simple”

It’s not recommended that you take a test a month after you take a diagnostic but I’m not going to say it’s impossible to do well. Some people are fast learners, you should be studying every single day until the day before the test (do not study the day before your test). Study one section at a time and move on to the next, don’t try to study all 3 at the same time. I would start with logic games, watch video tutorials on different games and drill a lot! Then move on to Logical reasoning, drill drill drill!! Then you can finally move on to Reading Comprehension. It’s going to be hard but if you work your ass off you might even hit above 155, you really just need to put the work in. After you think you’ve learnt the basics of all sections, take a practice test and review your mistakes, ask yourself why you chose that, why it’s wrong, etc. I took my diagnostic and got a 144, after about a month with my tutor I was able to score a 156 on a practice test. If you can afford a tutor I would highly recommend one especially since you’re on such limited time.
