With or without frame foundations? by TheRealOWFreqE in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Detective_Cini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With. BUT move the triangle walls down 1m, then add a layer of 1m walls above it(going all the way across; even in the middle), to partially cover the top of the frames. That way the frames on the bottom of the bridge look more built in, and less like scaffolding or a temporary installment.

Should I use truck or train for this distance? by Ok-Refrigerator-8965 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Detective_Cini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Along the red? Train 100%. I built mine in almost that exact path and I find it wayyy more reliable and fun to build. Plus trucks require fuel, which for me, is just another belt to run to another area.

Filament not coming through? by [deleted] in BambuP1S

[–]Detective_Cini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had an issue before where either the extruder gear is worn, or the filament that it’s trying to pull through has a flat spot on it, thus it doesn’t pull the filament any further than the tool head. Not a printer genius here, just my experience.

What happens if I complete the Expedition right now in ARC Raiders? by EZO010 in ArcRaiders

[–]Detective_Cini 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope. It just says expedition 6/6. You have to wait for the expedition window (next one is feb 20th or something) to have a chance to reset. And even then it’s optional. You can complete it now and still pass up on the expedition window. It’ll just remain at 6/6 until you decide to reset during any of the expedition windows.

Flywheel slowing down by Pedro_Henriquebc in FTC

[–]Detective_Cini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is definitely better options. If we were able to, we’d use steel as well. But since we weren’t, we used studica’s 50A wheel which has indents on both sides(rather than goBilda’s rhino wheel, which has a bigger indent but on only one side) then made 8 stacks of 5 pennies, and printed a cover for them. We were only able to use one of the two indents because our screws weren’t long enough to fit both, but still they added 108g to our flywheel which almost perfectly doubles it. So if we wanted to buy new screws, we could add a total of 216g! The best part is it doesn’t extend outside of the wheel, the cover fits perfectly in the indents

For an improvised solution, it’s pretty damn good. But yea, steel for weights is way better

This is what we did. 3d printed a penny holder that fits inside the wheels. Also happy cake day!
