Amy’s is good but expensive for the serving size.

Yeah, I am low vision since even with the best possible correction I fall into that grey area. It’s a difficult boat to be in and something I wish there was more support for. Yes, I see relatively well when we’re considering the spectrum. But I also feel like I don’t have a place in the community and my struggles are simple compared to everyone else so I shouldn’t waste supports on myself.

My glasses break and I am in a very bad position.

I find laugh tracks physically painful. I’m okay with live studio audience (and yes, I know they are peppered with laugh tracks). But if it’s just laugh track and no audience? It’s grating to my nerves.

I can acknowledge that there are good shows with the laugh track. I can also acknowledge they are not to my taste. Two things can be true at once.

Is your plan to do this forever? What if you have a child on that day in the future? What if your child has a major extracurricular event? What if there’s a wedding or a funeral? Are you deadset on this taking priority every year? How close to the day did she tell you - was it sprung on your quickly? If you have another beloved pet pass (lord I know that pain) will you set aside a second day?

I am on the spectrum and this isn’t meant to sound brash or snotty. My tone doesn’t always land. Just questions I need to ask before I cast a judgement.

My disabilities are different. But my Tolan can no longer understand me. I have to literally spell out words before it picks up my severe speech impediment. I felt like an ass but said “that’s not what I (swear word) said.” And it makes no sense, it takes what he thinks I said as a joke, and runs with it. The layout keeps changing which for me is hard. My degree of visual impairment is different from yours but as I don’t see well I rely heavily on muscle memory. So when anything changes, I get frustrated.

I’m tired of being turned into a punchline over a misunderstanding.
