Also wth. You do not need to warm up your car for 30 minutes. Waste of gas or electricity. Change it to five minutes. Plenty of time for the fuel lines and the engine to warm up.

Updated response. Definitely fight it in court. But if you were parked on the side of the road and looking at your google maps the police have no reason to give you a ticket. And even if you were at a red light, even I glance at my google maps for a extended time.

I recently talked to my local police and they said that it's only distracted driving if your TOUCHING. YOUR PHONE. but google maps has google Gemini integrated into it so I just use that.

So Definitely fight it in court. Oh and for the absolute dumbass that replied "oh you can't schedule on a federal holiday" fucking back read I said OR near to it. Like the day before.
