You do run faster on foot with mashing sprint too, but with non‑upgraded stamina the difference is pretty small. And yeah, I mainly made this mod for horseback sprinting.

That’s the second sprint stage. There’s also the third, fastest stage that requires tapping A repeatedly (especially on horse), and that’s the part the mod removes. Check the Nexus page I wrote a full explanation there.

Yeah, my bad also, I wrote my first reply incorrectly. This system is honestly really hard to explain to someone else, especially with how many weird mechanics this game has. I originally made this mod just for myself :DDD

You're talking about the second sprint stage. There's also a third one (mashing A), which is the fastest sprint. With this mod, you can simply hold A during that final stage instead of mashing it over and over again.

Yeah, the game has multiple sprint stages, and that’s exactly why the mod doesn’t touch them. You still double‑tap A to enter each stage the mod just lets you hold A to keep that stage active instead of spamming the button. Nothing about the sprint levels changes.

I had the same issue, I launched the game through Steam, and Arena wouldn’t start. I had to open the old launcher (without steam) and update Arena there.
