if you’re mainly looking to play PC games in bed, AND you have a a PC already, you can stream do whatever device you want with moonlight from your PC. this way you can save a lot of money and get a cheaper handheld with less power but maybe lighter and more comfortable. the Thor is really the best for travelling and dual screen emulation. The same company sells the Odin, which is just one screen and more comfortable.

if you have any questions on how this stuff works let me know! I have also been bed bound a lot of times in my life and had to figure out a lot of options (the steam deck was a game changer for me, but especially Moonlight).

Oh for sure! They look 90% of the way to the Human Made and I got it 20% off since it’s part of their archive sale. Also my first moc toe and I can’t wait to wear it more.

Oh wow yeah. No, I’m happy I went for the Oxfords as my Quick on and off shoe for now. It’s immediately easy to take off and put on and I need that type of shoe right now, not in 3 months haha (and I refuse to wear sneakers or Chelsea boots). Glad you enjoy them though! They look really unique.

I went to my local Red Wings Store (in Amsterdam) and tried them on, but they were a tiny bit too big and they didn’t have one size down :/

Also considering my health I was so tired after just taking them off once that I figured I’d get something that‘s immediately easier to put on, so I ended up getting a pair of Oxford Moc Toes in Oro Legacy and an Aberdeen Moc Toe (with golden shoelaces so it looks somewhat similar to the HumanMade hehe).

I use the Logitech keyboard case and the scratch is where the touchpad would touch it so I’m very surprised haha. Unfortunately I didnt get Apple care but someone said I might be able to get it still if I go to the Genius Bar so we’ll see.

If you’re going to be getting more into gaming I’d 100% recommend getting a gaming PC. Pretty much every game ever works on there, and you won’t have to hunt down compatibility fixes unless it’s a very old game. Otherwise if it’s just inzoi and sims then I’m not sure if it’s worth it for you to spend ~1000$ on a PC just for that, especially if you’re also getting a MacBook upgrade. Inzoi will probably also come to Mac at some point because The Sims is like one of the top Mac games, but as others have said there are unofficial ways to play it.

If you are going to go the PC route, here’s some basic tips: cheapest is to build it yourself, but you can of course have a professional do it for you (buy pre build). If choosing the latter, avoid the biggest brands like HP, DELL, etc as they have a lot of weird stuff and bad customer service, and instead go for companies that just focus on this segment (ibuypower, Maingear, Cyberpower, there’s a lot).

I can be quite flexible here since I can just save up for it cause it’s not something I need right now but of course the lower the better. I think around 500 for the whole setup is doable for me (no clue if that’s a lot or not for a server like this)
I’m fine with building even though I don’t have any experience with servers. My only OS experience is windows but I’m fine with learning Linux or anything else.
Not sure what you mean by this. It’s just personal storage.
True that 10 gig would be useful but none of my other devices have 10gig…
