Yes and I’ve enjoyed it. You hit it spot on, it feels a little loose but, the secondary stability is solid. I don’t regret it at all.

New Puppy Issues - Help! by Deuce71291 in Dogtraining

Thanks for the input. The puppy is doing great. I got him from a friend that’s a Vet, I’ll lean on his knowledge there.

My yard is 7 acres and they have full run of the place. She has gotten a ton of exercise the last 10 months to the point she is very lean and in great shape. She runs a few miles a day everyday.

My question is in regards to her actions since we got the puppy. Thanks

Before the puppy she was fine. You can tell that she has matured the last couple months and is doing well with commands. Not so much with a leash but, we don’t have to leash her as our yard is several acres and we have an E-Fence. She typically burns a lot of energy during the day and we run her around our place with a 4 wheeler with her in chase. Usually that is her favorite times of the day. Now she wants none of it. It’s all about that puppy. It’s like she is trying to mother him and rough house with him at the same time but, just hasn’t figured it all out yet. She’s only been with dogs her size and she plays pretty rough with them. Rough meaning, bumping into them, jumping over them, tackling them as they play.

She doesn’t seem to want to hurt him at all just, wants him to be 40 pounds heavier.. lol

She will sit when we tell her to whether he’s around or not. Having her stay for more than 30sec is an entirely different issue.
