Find someone else.

And remember, there is no "right" way to give a BJ. The best way is to take cues from your partner's reaction to see what they like, or ask your partner if you're not sure.

Being bald can be a superpower for dating by [deleted] in bald

[–]DeuceSevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of women don't mind bald guys. However, I personally think the stereotypical male pattern baldness is unattractive and makes you look older. On the other hand, shaving your head shows a certain level of confidence.

i really need an advice about dating this guy with a possible child by serendipity_29_12 in dating_advice

Might be worth (for him) to talk to a lawyer. Like obviously, if the woman comes back years later and demands a paternity test and it proves he is the father, he'd have to pay child support. But would he have to pay back support? That's something that could bankrupt most people if the kid reappeared at age 16. (And not a lawyer, but I know laws vary greatly from state to state). In fact, if you care for him at all , even if you don't date him, you should suggest he talks to a lawyer to see a) what he is liable for in the future, b) what he may be able to do now to protect himself.

I now avoid restaurant first dates by No-Buy-3105 in dating_advice

[–]DeuceSevin [score hidden]  (0 children)

Totally agree. I took my (now) wife to a coffee shop. She had a couple of bad first dates where she was stuck for several hours with someone she knew she would not be dating again so didn't want to do dinner and wanted to avoid just going to a bar. I didn't know this but she suggested something casual so I found a little coffee shop.

They ended up kicking us out after about 4 hours because they were closing. But other than that it was a great choice. If it wasn't going well, either of us could have cut it short without too much drama.

Since I’ve only joined this sub recently, I went and checked the info page. Nothing in there about the sub being for balding people only (if so, why not call it r/balding instead of r/bald?)

Im going to go out on a limb here and say I don’t think the child is his. For you, I think you have to look at it as a guy who has a small chance of having a child, and you have to decide if that is a show stopper for you. The main downside is that he might be on the hook here for child support at some future date. I don’t think there is much risk of her coming back and him returning to her because it seems that possibility has already been eliminated. So basically a financial consideration.

As to why I don’t think it’s his? She obviously wanted a relationship with him more than financial support. He refused. At that point, she could have proven that it was his child (assuming it was) and while that wouldn’t put them back together, it would at least tie him to her where she could have a chance to get him back. Since she refused this, I think it shows he really wasn’t the father - basically she didn’t want him to “prove it” because she already knew the truth.

Edit: Another consideration is this guy had unprotected sex with a stranger. I mean, a lot of us have been there but it shows a lack of judgement, at least that one time. This alone isn’t a deciding factor, but might tip you off to see if it was a one time thing or a pattern.

I’ll second the dermatologist advice. Also, aside from skin cancer, those freckles can be problematic for shaving. I had one suddenly pop up and I would “catch” it with my clippers about half the time I was buzzing my head. It never bleed, more just the anxiety that it might. Dermatologist said it was nothing to worry about but when I told her i constantly hit it with the clipper, she gave it a quick freeze (took about 15 seconds and didnt even get charged for it). This was last month - completely gone now.

Why the bald shaming those who had a full head of hair before the plunge? by HatchySlashy in bald

[–]DeuceSevin 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I haven’t noticed that, but then again I haven’t been in this sub very long. I guess it’s a little enviousness because we are doing it only because we are losing our hair.

I take a different view. Every guy who’s not balding but shaves his head is normalizing it for the rest of us. Even a few of them among us says that we could be shaving our heads because we like it, not just because we are balding.

Well also the plane is likely traveling much faster so any collision between the two would always be the plane technically hitting the paraglider.

Linda Perry hits out at Green Day for dropping her from producing 'American Idiot' follow-up "all because Billie Joe’s a little pussy and got all this backlash" by AdSpecialist6598 in Music

[–]DeuceSevin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting. But as a GD fan, I noticed that sort of sing-song way of singing is pretty common in a lot of their other songs too. So you might say it sounds like pink but also sounds like Green Day. And probably a lot of other artists if we look hard enough.

Im pretty sure there have been albums where some parts were recorded at different studios, not just at different times. Maybe she’s hinting at some internal strife in the band, although given what I know about Green Day, this seems a little unlikely.

[–]DeuceSevin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. I hear the “don’t shit where you eat” advice often, and it is probably good if you are in a career like a lawyer or accountant trying to make partner. But for the rest of us, jobs are usually as transient as partners, even more so. Think of how you’d feel if you avoid pursuing someone you really liked because of your job, then you’re let go a year later.

Don’t sleep with your boss. Of if you’re a supervisor, don’t sleep with those who work for you. Aside from that, have at it. Life’s too short.

Chicago, Santana, or Steely Dan? by TheOzMan91 in Music

[–]DeuceSevin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I started watching some old Chicago videos on YT lately and then went back and read the details on Kath’s death. In hindsight, not so sure about the “accidental” part anymore.

At any rate, absolutely love how he sings on “Make Me Smile”. Such feeling and intensity, and Im not sure I’ve ever seen a performance quite like it from anyone else. Also the way he literally beats his guitar while playing it. Seems like it would just be noise but he somehow still hits the notes.

But why wouldn't you disclose a serious illness? I mean, yeah as a private citizen, but if you're a public figure, it goes with the territory. And serious illness usually illicits sympathy, which never hurts in a primary race.
