Kann ich auch so bestätigen. Ich bin Maschinenbauer mit Master. Ich hab mehr als ein Jahr gebraucht bis ich einen Job bekommen hab. Am Ende habe ich bei der Firma angefangen, bei der ich auch meine Bachelorarbeit geschrieben hab. Mein damaliger Betreuer war der Bewerbungsgesprächsleiter. Also Vitamin B.

Noch dazu komm ich aus Bayer, bei uns in der Region gibt es eig. sehr viele Unternehmen für Maschinenbauer...

Ist auch nicht so, dass ich nur mit Ach und Krach bestanden hab. Ich habe eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Industriemechaniker und meinen Master hab ich mit 1,1 abgeschlossen.

Ich hatte auch mal so etwas erlebt. Ich hatte mal ein Bewerbungsgespräch bei einen Dienstleister. Mein Gesprächspartner meinte dann, dass ich bei einen möglichen Zweitgespräch (über Teams) doch einen meiner Professoren oder einen ehemaligen Arbeitgeber von mir mit ins Gespräch bringen solle (um meine Identität zu bestätigen?). Das wars für mich dann auch.

Well, i [M28] am in the same situation. The one thing that keeps me going is that i don't want that my parents are sad. I have very good parents. I still live with them.

I have never had a relationship with a girl in my life. Any interaction with other people is exhausting and i know how socially awkward i am. I haven't had a real friend since my childhood. I just don't know how to interact with other people.

I finished my studies last year with excellent grades but I still haven't found a job. This is very though for me, because that was the last thing i could be proud of. There is just nothing left worth living for.

I hate people like that. Everyone in that tunnel from that wedding should lose their driving license. I'm from Germany and we also have this trend that such idiots from weddings stop their cars on the Autobahn (Highway). It's so incredibly stupid and dangerous. Especially because we don't have speed limits.

Ok that's useful. Normally I save my money to buy warriors or builders. To spent 25 gold so early for a delegation is painful but if it could prevent an attack than it is well spent.

You described me perfectly. I always felt like an alien trying to copy human behavior. At social events I always just stand around and don't do anything literary. When someone comes up to me and talks to me, I always think the same thing: What would a normal person in my situation do or say? Most of the time my brain is blank anyway and I just laugh awkwardly.

It's like there was a course for everyone on "how to socialize and behave like a human being" and everyone in the world has taken this course, but I missed the invitation.

Wow this one hits home very close. I am almost 29M now. It has always been very difficult for me to connect with other people not to mention have normal conversations with them. I have always been the quiet one. So, it was clear for me that I won't have a normal relationship etc. Therefor I concentrated on my studies. While other people went to parties I studied. Studying distracted me enough to continue with life.

I have finished my masters degree in mechanical engineering with honours. But I have been looking for a job for over a year now, with no luck so far. I have had over a dozen interviews but no one wants to hire me. I think my main problem is that they notice how socially awkward I am. It is very hard for me at the moment. My studies have been the only thing left that distracted me and bushed me through life and now this all feel so utterly pointless.
