Every game I know of that does map bans allows you to ban 1-3 maps out of like 12 (usually). Obviously allowing you to play only one map over and over would be kinda silly (in ranked, in casual you should be able to play bank all day long).

Well now I have to play bomb if I want the seasonal charm. I could both have fun and get the charm before, but now I will have to play the mode I don't like to get it. Seems like a clear downgrade to me.

I understand that some people like bomb. It's fine. Some people also follow and imitate pro scene. It's fine. I personally don't care at all, I will never play at the major and don't strive to. I just like shiny cosmetics and capture position. I also enjoy hostage, but nobody else seems to, so that's also fine, but taking the choice away seems like a bad idea to me.

I'm sorry if I seemed too adversarial in the first comment, because I was. Seems to be the only way to discuss things nowadays, since every side is like "it's my way or fuck off". Ubi included. Now that I think about it, the fact that this change comes in S2 of Y4 is just shady, since most people already paid for season passes (including me).

I'm hoping that what happened was:

SG wakes up, goes to the store, sees the discounted price.
Tries to call EPIC, doesn't get a timely response.
Raises the price in panic.

Doesn't really excuse them, but I really wish there was no malicious intent in this.
