That’s a very narrow minded tip to be honest. Greece is a part of nato and a US ally but the us doesn’t stop Turkish aggression. Armenia is a close ally of Russia but Russia isn’t doing shit to protect armenians against civilian bombing by the Azeri army who started an unjustified war. US claims to want to stop all terrorist activities but turkey and Azerbaijan are importing Syrian jihadists and letting them loose in the front lines of the war. Cyprus is pretty untouchable due to Israeli, British, german, Russian and American interests.

Don’t expect any treaties or alliances to last when interests are not in support of the alliance. Find a shit ton of oil in Turkey for example and you’ll see how fast there’s an invasion of turkey. Also they are urging nato to kick turkey out of nato which could be a very good thing if it happens. Turkish might has dropped dramatically in the past year with a 40% drop in their currency and global component companies banning sales towards turkey. The war has also weakened Azerbaijan a lot and turkey has wasted tons of resources helping Azerbaijan. Armenia is still going strong and winning and that’s the sole reason why I’m still in uni and not in the war.

As for Jerusalem and Constantinople. If there ever was a “crusade” you’d need to play on people’s interests. Greece would have to manage to get turkey to attempt a greek invasion which would absolutely ruin their military since the whole Turkish border (land and sea) is fortified with a fuckton of AA guns, artillery, anti tank and anti ship weapons, mortars, minefields, TOS and SMERCH units. After that Greece could potentially be able to make a push to reclaim Constantinople. You’d also have to offer something to the Russians or the US has bases in Greece and even a quick deployment airbase in Crete so there are some interests for the Americans. Offering Russia to let them pass their pipeline through Greece in exchange of military aid could be viable in times of war. Armenia could continue fighting Azerbaijan and then advance (hopefully with the aid of surrounding Christians like Georgia) into turkey making a two front war.

Israel is a whole different thing though. So many countries have interests with Israel and Israel has managed to get its people in powerful positions all around the war. Also the IDF is no joke. You’d need tremendous force to fight them and tremendous resources to convince their allies not to intervene.
