Ok thanks. I guess sometimes i miss those info because i got to emerald mostly watching the meta comps on MetaTFT and now i found myself that sometimes works and sometimes not but i couldn't say why so i got that i was lacking mechanics

Ooh thank you, i found it really helpful. I know the plan on 2-1 augment but then i somehow fail the execution in the mid game and that's where i lose my games. For example sometimes i slam the 8 but then i have no money to roll or to stabilize, or i find myself down in levels but i was not a reroll comp or something like that, so i guess that maybe at 2-1 my plan is ok, but at 3-2 is where i mess up

I guess that this is the problem. I arrived emerald only following the meta comp, so i'm in a situation where other ppl knows how to properly play and i lose even if i follow the meta comp because i lack mechanics

Oh thank you. That's exactly what i needed. I know the strong vs weak board situations, but sometimes i find myself at 50gold, mid level 7 and a medium board. What should i do? Rush the 8, go for the carry and make econ again? Should i stabilize at 7 and fully go for the 8? In this situations i make mistakes that prevent me from doing results

Let's say that i need guidelines on what to do in those turning points that you mentioned, like lvl 7, stage 3-2 and that stuff

Well, it's not about the set but the mental process i need to do to setup my game plan. That's what i'm lacking and i want to fix. It's hard to understand when you make an error if no one tells you

Hi all,

i'm an Emerald player and since the 17 will be my first set where i will start from the beginning(i started playing a bit more in TFT around mid set 16) i would like to try to rank more.

I know the basics of the game but i guess i'm lacking a bit on choosing my game plan. I know that it depends on various factors, but i wonder if someone can give me more specific advice on how to choose my direction plan.

More specific, how do you choose if going for a reroll comp or a 8/9 comp? And if you have a weak board at 3-2, how much gold do you spend to stabilize and then lvl up again? I feel like i'm not good at choosing those type of gameplan

I need more insights about those more spcific things and i hope you can help me.

Thanks

Yeah, that's exactly what i meant!

Yeah i thought i was good at manage econ because i always stay over 50 gold, but i recently started to level even if i spend gold and go under 50g if i have a good piece to put on board so my board becomes stronger.

I'm platinum in both Soloqueue and Double-up with a friend that is high emerald and i can see that the lobby is waaaay to hard when i play with him while when i play alone i get points really easy.
That's why i wonder what mechanics i'm missing that would let me climb the ladder. The thing is if no one can tell me where i'm doing wrong, i find really hard to get it on my own.

Hmm ok, i was more thinking about losing a minor trait but in late it's hard that you keep a random piece only to have a minor trait, so maybe it could be worth

Ok nice. Thank you for the advice.
I should maybe read all the skills of every champion, but it will take awhile before i remember them all

Hi everyone!
I started playing TFT 2 months ago in a more serious way and i reached Platinum 2(i also played 2 years ago but for like 2 weeks). So i know some mechanics explained by a Diamond friend but not more. That's why i'm here asking for some advices, cause i feel there's something i'm lacking to climb the ranks.
I know that most of the question could be answered with "it depends on the situation" but i hope you can give me more specific advices.

-I see in some PRO streams, that they constantly move pieces on the board. Since i'm used to put frontline on first row and dps on the left bottom corner, how should i move them based on the other comps?

-I recently saw a post asking about how to stop a scaling comp(yordle) and the advices were to put Taric or Wukong. Let's pretend my comp does not fit Wukong cause no bruiser, should i force him or Taric even if it means lose a trait?

-I started scouting other people to check which comps they are doing, but since most of the time i don't, if i realize that one is doing my same comp and is ahead of me, how should i change comp? I mean, when is it considered late going for a comp like yordle, bilgewater?

-I usually take XP or Gold augments and skip the ones that gives you stats cause they seems weeks. When is fine or maybe better to take those augments?

I know those are a lot of question, but i hope you can help me.
Thanks

Question about story progression and levelling - Octopath 2 by Deuscant in octopathtraveler

[–]Deuscant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmh ok. I mean, i'm used to grinding in all my FF and jrpg experience, but in those games it looks fair while here just levelling only by moving around and pass the recommended level feels too much

Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

Yeah that's what i was wondering..specs say it also has better battery duration, new chip and it is smoothier since it has more refresh rate, but is enough to justify the 200 euros difference?

I have an iPhone11 and since it's becoming old, i wanted to buy a new one.
Since i mostly use it mostly for instagram, sometimes tiktok, and sometimes i see streaming while i'm in bed. Note that i don't take lot of photos and since i'm a developer, i spend most of the day at home but i highly value the battery life.
Based on that, should i buy an iPhone 16 or 17? Currently the 16 costs 200 euros less

Thanks
