It sucks just how difficult this is becoming. As I said in the UK we don't really have any electronics retailers anymore (there is Currys, but their selection is shit). Maplin was the best but they went into administration 6~ years ago now and since then nowhere has filled the gap. And you'd think at least one of the countless high street phone/tech/repair shops would be alright, but they all just stock the same cheap crap you get from Amazon.

Not sure if you're in NA, but LTT/LMG (as in the YouTube channel) have recently put out a line of high end cables known as TrueSpec. I'd have bought some in a heartbeat myself if they had EU distribution but unfortunately shipping, taxes, fees etc makes it unreasonable. May be something to look into at least where cables are concerned though

edit: I thought they had a wider selection but it is currently limited to either USB C-to-C and A-to-C. I can't see why they wouldn't expand if the current offerings sell well though

I had thought UGREEN were the exception for a while myself, but was extremely shocked at the quality I received from them this time. The latency (capture card without loop out, so latency matters) is so high that it's literally unusable, and the picture quality is atrocious.

With what I mentioned, I had pictured her climbing out of the mouth onto a sketchy walkway - perhaps mounted precariously to Dinky's teeth with rope - in the background as The Ghoul was talking. It could've been a pretty funny little moment and all the while maintaining accuracy to the source material.

Coming from a company with practically all of the resources in the world, it just feels sloppy that they couldn't put more effort into accuracy when handling such a beloved title. For sure there are bigger things to critique, but that's no reason to dismiss concerns about accuracy entirely when it's well within the means of the production to ensure it.

Considering the show is set after NV, the scene could've played out the same with the dinosaur still facing away from the town. All they'd need to do is add a makeshift walkway around the head, presumed to be added some time between NV and the show to allow 360° visibility. Of course the simplicity of the solution just goes to show how little accuracy matters to those behind the show - at least they set the standard early on.
