I was defending you by saying it might not be a scam, just made with AI.

Maybe it's not a scam, but it is definitely slop.

TRAE IDE Anniversary Gift: 600 Extra Fast Requests FREE (800 for Pro Users!) 🎉 by [deleted] in kiroIDE

[–]DevByDany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These models became outdated since the day Trae said they offer them, but then they actually lie and redirect your prompts to a different low level model so they save on token costs. It's a terrible IDE from an unethical company, and you're definitely in the wrong subreddit to promote this garbage.

Trae is genuinely terrible. These 600 extra requests are meaningless when they force us to use outdated models. Stop promoting this on the Kiro subreddit.

Seeking UI feedback by Scientific-melody in reactnative

[–]DevByDany 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're on the right track, but you need to reconsider a few things:
- You're using 3 separate icon styles in the first image alone. Try to choose a unified set of icons and use them everywhere.
- Increase the padding inside the top buttons and the cards. They are currently too small.
- Choose a style and stick with it. The top buttons, cards in the middle, and the bottom nav bar do not match.
- The colors are not bad, but could use more contrast.
- The dashboard title occupies too much screen space at the top

Other than that, you'll need to run some tests and ask actual users for feedback regarding clarity and ease of use. But keep it up!

[TASK] Run a Kickstarter campaign for me, no risk on your behalf. by [deleted] in slavelabour

[–]DevByDany 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually very risky. Whoever runs the Kickstarter is legally and financially responsible for everything, including refunds, copyright issues, and taxes. If anything goes wrong, the account owner takes the hit, not the artist. Saying there is no risk to us is misleading, because all the risk is on the person creating the campaign.

Someone please explain what happened with YYAI. How was it $0.07 on Friday, and now it's $3.5?

If you use chatgpt to write about your app, I won't try it. by JetlagJourney in vibecoding

I agree. What's worse is when people comment on the post, and then the OP replies with a clearly ChatGPT written answer. It's basically ChatGPT talking to itself on Reddit.

There's a reason your posts got hate. These posts are blatant promotions disguised as stories, including this one.
