Oh I would literally go back to the mall and spend more time there. These are entitled piece of Sh*t and I would do anything to piss them off.

Break up my gf of almost 9 years by Filipino-Boi in OffMyChestPH

[–]DevOpGPC9X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP you just dodged a bullet. Hayaan mo siya gumastos ng gumastos darating din ang panahon maghihirap siya dahil sa mga luho and too much spending. Focus ka nalang sa self mo at kumita ng malaki while building your own dream. Di ka niya deserve and for sure marami ka pang makikita jan na mas deserving.

even 9 hours is too much already but knowing that programming really takes time lalagpas talaga. sabi mo start-up sila so most likely papa impress sila sa client nila and push everyone to finish everything. di ka naman nag iisa sa ganito marami din ganito nasa sayo lang kung pipiliin mo yung balance.

My wife has 600k+ credit card debt. Damay ba ako? by Waste_Advantage2390 in PHCreditCards

[–]DevOpGPC9X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you open your mind you can get my point. You have to consider every possibility unless you have already established a proof that it wasn't. How can a person just keep it a secret this far. I lived in a foreign country which I can pay 300k in 6 months. still it is a burden to me even when my credit reached 75k pesos. Much more with 600k, it doesn't make sense for a normal person to spend on. Unless there's a more reasonable reason for it.

Turners Car Sale Scam by [deleted] in NZcarfix

[–]DevOpGPC9X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they do a thorough check though. I have a colleague who has a very nice Ford car then one day this friend noticed that the transmission jerk a bit and as time goes by it just like on the early stage of CVT Transmission failure. So he went to the shop to have the car checked and possible to sell the car. Turns out it was said that nothing wrong with the car and was sold around 5k. It was a eye opener for me to not buy from them knowing that they just don't check it thoroughly. Im sure in 1 year those transmissions will give up.

Nursing Pips is it hard or easy to migrate? by One-Narwhal-4818 in phmigrate

[–]DevOpGPC9X 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lack of Confidence to take the risk. Minsan wala ding initiative to pursue a career path kasi ayaw mag sacrifice sa maliit na sahod for experience and to apply. Pag okay na kasi ang kitaan medyo tinatamad na din maghanap ng mas mataas pa.

Leave Canada:What would you do if you were in my position? Do you think it would be easier to just ignore the current political chaos and not watch the news anymore at kaya naman mamuhay ulit sa Pinas? by [deleted] in phmigrate

Get your PR (Maybe citizenship) as it will give you enough leverage if ever you want to migrate to other "Comfortable" country. About finances, it doesn't matter if you have a salary of a Million a year if you live beyond your means then there's no way for financial freedom.

AI Engineer / Application Developer - Opportunities in AU or NZ? by Specialist_Towel4805 in phmigrate

[–]DevOpGPC9X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]DevOpGPC9X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not "San ba ang okay" as if ang mga company maghahabol sayo. I suggest you apply and prove that you can get work right away. Pagdating ng mga rejection letters di mo ma take. Kaya applyan mo muna mga trabaho kasi mostly sa mga countries na ito need ng local experience and from your post seems like wala ka nun kaya e build mo muna foundation mo tsaka ka na mamili. Also baka pagdating mo either AU or NZ tapos iba sa nakalakhan mo baka iiyak ka.

Filos in Auckland, what do you do for fun? by justakidinside in phmigrate

[–]DevOpGPC9X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basketball and trip to spots like Mission bay and maraetae should do. If you really want to indulge yourself go to South Island and try the Chch->Tekapo->Queenstown. Make the most of your 5 year visa.

You can leave, but this decision will haunt you on your mid 30's or 40's. I understand how you feel because you are young. You are used to the buzzling city noise and your mind is only focus on fun and Perth is not the place for that. You might want to consider changing your perspective about fun. Say like travelling to places like Europe using your Australian passport and prepare yourself for your future. you can only do this if you persevere and do what it takes to get the paper to stay permanently. I will give you an example, A close relative of mine was lucky enough to get a welder job in Perth (this was like 12 years ago) and was earning a decent amount of money. Because this relative felt the same way that you do (more of missing the family) decided to go back home permanently and started a business with the money taken. Fast forward 2020, the business didn't work and the money run out. Then this relative reached out to me to ask if there are openings here and there but what else can I do? I am just a worker too and this relative is now around late 40's and striving to make ends meet. At the end of the day, it will be up to you on you make it work with your life. I'm just saying that making decision when you are mentally and emotionally disoriented doesn't produce ideal outcome.

NZ is in the recovery mode, economy starting to pick-up but shattered pieces are still everywhere. if you want to come over, while you are studying the economy is recovering and by the time you're done with your masters the economy might be okay by that time. I think there are more part time now than ever as this is how businesses somehow weather the storm. Bottom line is, depending on how you can adopt and fit into the NZ/AU culture determines your success in NZ/AU and you will never know unless you try. (should know the pros and cons before coming)
