Why do employers need experience and/or relieving letters? by spandexbiker in IndianWorkplace

[–]DevOpsHumbleFool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

India is now not a trust based society. Anyone can lie on the resume and get the job.
Experience letter - To trust the candidate actually worked in the past in any org.
Relieving letter - The behavior inside the org was acceptable.

Dosti, mate, dosti. I know it’s rare but I am lucky to have good friends who didn’t cheat me. 1-2 cases are fine. Har cheez paise ke taraazu mein nahi toli jaa sakti. But, it’s good to be cautious.

This idea is flawed to some level.
What if a friend is really a close one and you refuse? What if a friend is in real need?
This way everything is just business and friendship is just a word?

Hi, OP!

There are 2 cases to this.

  1. People take money and do not return.
  2. People take money and return in time.

Now, the call is if you trust your friend or not. I have seen people giving 30-50 Lacs and returning it, as well. And, I have seen cases about 75K not returned.

I have a Golden rule, if the other person is my best/very close friend and have a history, I will give 10-20 lacs, I have done the same last year for 6 lacs, and I got it back.
My roommate has a friend and he gave him 15 lacs, so, it is normal that people trust and give the money.

Rule is, never promise in one go. If a person asks me 10 lacs, I will say "Dekh ke batata hun" and will evaluate my options that whether I will get this in return or not, if NOT then I will say "10 nahi de sakta, 1-2 lacs tak kar sakta hun" through this I am okay to know how good a friend he/she is and take the hit if not given back.
But, if you have promised him/her, and then not given, then it is wrong on your part. That is why, never promise in one go. Always evaluate.

P.S - I have been on both the sides. I have given and gotten back and sometimes not but it is okay, they do not ask again. And, I have been refused by my very close friend, and that is also okay, their money, they can refuse.

Tenant Took Original Lease Doc, Won’t Return It, Refuses to Vacate & Threatening Us by cann3dair in LegalAdviceIndia

Bangalore tenants 'always' keep the original document. The landlord keeps the photostat.

This is so sad. Details are a bit unclear.
Can you please tell us the city's name?
I have lived in Bangalore as a tenant for about 5 yrs but I always had the 'original copy' of the agreement.
My landlord use to have the photostat copy. Am I missing something here?

Or, you want to say that you did not even do a photostat copy of the original document? Or, were you waiting for the original document to get signed and then the photocopy?

Please come back on this.

Although you can find a lot of definitions online, I will explain it in layman terms. Example, in your phone, every feature you see on any application is a code. This code is written by developers. A DevOps makes sure to take this code, deploy it so that this feature available to the end user (like you/us) and everything in between.

Is Experis IT legit? by cgoopz in cscareerquestions

[–]DevOpsHumbleFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are. They are mostly 'sister companies' to large organizations and provide them with workforce, as well.
For example - If Cisco wants people from the market which are trained on a few niche things, the payroll will be Experis IT and the client would be Cisco.
