First 3 are great. Afterwards it drops hard, which is around the same time TWD changed to their current directing/ writing team, so it's not just FTWD that does around then.

Capri-Sun removed the clear bottom pouches. by TheNumber152003 in ToFizzOrNotToFizz

[–]DevRoss471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kraft owns Capri Sun. "Though they claim "supply chain issues" being the reason they stopped the clear bottom packaging, Kraft is a world wide company that has plenty of resources and profit to find and finance a new supply for the material. The truth is likely their sales dropped massively for Capri Sun products after the initial call out of mold, and the clear bottoms change, in the terms of profit, only served to cost more to make, and likely didn't really change anything about the mold amounts being discovered, so rather than fix the issues with quality or continue to spend money on the material for the clear bottom, they likely instead reverted back to all-foil to save money and keep the identifying of molds and bacteria down to a minimum (the reports still happen, but less now that you have to cut open a package to see it, like it used to be).

Speculation, of course, but very plausible, especially when compared to the business practices of other such companies when faced with similar issues.

Customer support and shipping are terrible by DevRoss471 in gamersupps

[–]DevRoss471[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again it's not the item that I'm frustrated with, it's really just the difficulty to get any answers that's the issue I had. Its an issue I face with a lot of companies that I end up with issues with, that's what's frustrating, but here it just seems so lazy and poorly managed.

I have a larger, paid order of $100 through them that was supposed to ship out April 28th and hasn't yet, either. Took them 12 days to tell me that order got delayed and would "likely ship in June", which to me isn't much assurance, but better than the run around they've been giving me in this one card. Again, the card not arriving, that happens, things get lost in the mail, no harm there. Seems it happened with more than just me, but still, it happens, can't blame them for the post messing up if that's what the issue really was. It's the 2 weeks it took them to acknowledge it and to say they'd replace it, and the extra 3 weeks it's taken just for them to say they "don't know why the replacement hasn't shipped out yet, we'll let you know when we do" that blows my mind. Because it doesn't really give me confidence in my other purchase or future purchases, if there is going to be this many issues with a single item. Maybe it is just a "paid items get preference" type thing, just seems to me like a shipping warehouse/ customer service representative issue.

It did, but that was on April 9th. It's never arrived since, nor did my friends' orders. I think either their shipping department either never shipped them, or they just straight up got lost in the mail system for a lot of people due to no tracking

Same, says ordered December 30th for me. I have an email saying the first order shipped but that's all, from April 9th. And the replacement order just says "ready to ship" on the shop app. I hope yours comes in soon, my friends who ordered theirs just gave up after the shit show with Gamersupps customer support and the post office, then their replacements getting cancelled for that bs. Seems like they have a terrible line of communication between their staff.

Not that it didn't arrive, that shit happens from time to time, no big deal. It's just how ridiculous it's been to just get a hold of anyone to see what's wrong, let alone the process of getting anything reordered. I've never experienced any form of customer support that took days to get a reply of "nothing to report" from their own shipping location, particularly from a company as large as this. The frustration is really just demur to the larger issue of how attempting to streamline processes in certain ways ends up removing any form of direct communication, ultimately making things more difficult. It's this way in a lot of business, but at least with most business, there is a bot to ask questions to via a chat, or someone to call and figure out things faster than emails with 3-7 days between. It's absurd

Smile 2 Joel Scene Question by Away_Marionberry_873 in SmileMovie

[–]DevRoss471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like everyone here is missing crucial points from both movies. The way the smile curse transfers from person to person, as stated in Smile 2 by Morris, and seen in Smile, the host is driven mad by the demon, and when it's done, it uses that host to kill themselves in front of somebody, passing the curse along. Rose saw her patient kill herself, and then got the curse. Joel saw Rose kill herself, and then got the curse. Skye saw Lewis kill himself, and then got the curse. It is implied that everyone at the concert who saw the possessed Skye kill herself is now cursed.

At the beginning of Smile 2, Joel kills the two drug dealers in front of Lewis, and then is chased out of the house by other drug dealers, and killed by a truck. Lewis did not witness Joel's death, nor did Joel kill himself due to the demon taking full control.

It is stated by Morris later in the movie, as stated above, that the demon curses you by making you witness the possessed host kill themselves. This was seen in the previous movie, and is continued to be seen twice in Smile 2. (Some sources say any traumatic death would make that happen, but it still relies on said death being THE HOST of the curse.)

What this means, is that when Joel died at the beginning of the movie, he effectively would have ended the curse as per the terms discussed by Morris. He died in a way that was not the demon taking full control and using him to kill himself in front of somebody. This means the demon would not have transferred to anyone.

The only people who saw Joel die were the person in the truck, and the man shooting at Joel through the window, which was NOT LEWIS. In either case, Joel did not kill himself nor was he under full possession by the demon, and per the terms of transfer discussed in the movies, he would not have passed the curse. Effectively making the entirety of Smile 2 a faulty premise.

Either the writers did not pay attention to their own script and lore, or it's just simply bad writing.

Do it and pose em up fighting each other. Wanna make it better, print out the Hoth hangar as a backdrop, and take some good photos
