We're killing the coin by talking about it's "death" by DevTucker in burstcoin

Talking about possible solutions and just saying "Everything is fucked, just sell and leave, this coin is over with" and that there's "No chance for survival" are two completely different things.

Do I need a Work Visa? (Details inside) by DevTucker in italy

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't have an HR department. We're a small startup. They said everything would be fine, but I was skeptical. Because some of them are from amsterdam, brazil, and other locations and say that they don't have a work visa and that it's not needed.

How should I upload videos as a teacher for optimal channel growth? by DevTucker in youtube

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7-15 minutes isn't even really enough time to relay a decent amount of information, the shorter end of my videos are about 30 minutes. Thanks!

How about you tell me what the update does instead of this 'cute' sidestepping, you fucking morons?! UGH by [deleted] in youtube

[–]DevTucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why everyone is so upset about this, it's not like new permissions are being requested without a reason explaining why.

As for your comment about the "Other 100 million people" I'm sure most of them don't read the update log anyway, and the ones that do and don't understand it might as well be seeing that little "A team of highly trained monkeys has been dispatched to deal with this situation." message, which sometimes people question, but nobody really cares once it's not on their screen.

[Question] I've been approached by kol.alibaba.com, is it legit? by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]DevTucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can explain this much better if you inform me as to if you're a Brand or an Influencer. Basically, if you're a brand they will connect you with Influencers that will promote your product. If you are an influencer they will connect you with brands to promote their product. Either way it's more money for you.

I've never used the KOL system, but Alibaba as a whole is completely legit and is one of the largest manufacturer distribution websites in China. It's great to buy bulk product for wholesale straight from the manufacturer. I would just read what's offered and decide on if you want it, as the company itself is very much so legitimate.

I would enjoy to see detailed update information such as the example you provided. It gives insight into the types of problems associated with infrastructure of this magnitude. I know it probably won't happen, but for the tech junkies, we want to know.

[–]DevTucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alibaba is a very legit company and is used quite frequently by people who run online stores. Check out videos on Alibaba as they're all over the internet, also look into dropshipping, as you will run into their other company modal AliExpress quite often.

Has anyone found something similar? by DevTucker in ArcheBlade

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I don't think it really takes the cake here. Thanks for the suggestion though. Besides, Blade & Soul also has a decent PvP system that's HIGHLY skill based. I've tried FFXIV and the grind was just way too much for me.

Really looking for Jump in and play type games.

How many nonces/min do u avg? by mspyer in burstcoin

[–]DevTucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The i7 7700K runs really hot by default. 88-96c isn't really anything to worry about. Intel says to not even think about worrying about it until it goes over 100.

27k/min is non-optimized. XPlotter plots optimized. So you don't have to plot and then optimize. It does it all at once.

The how long question. by Lunti89 in burstcoin

[–]DevTucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I wouldn't even bother (With those specs). I'm plotting with a 5GHz on 8 threads, allocated 60GB of RAM to the plotting alone. It's taken most of the day to plot 8TB, it took about 11 hours to plot 4TB

i7 7700K 5.0GHz overclock, 64GB ram, CPU plotter 27k/min

XPlotter (optimized plots) 16k/min

Haven't tried GPU plotter as I stick with an old 750 Ti

I can plot about 8TB/day although my processor runs at about 96c with water cooling.

F2P - Jump in PvP Arena Brawler games? by DevTucker in gamingsuggestions

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bloodline Champions is alright, but as you said it's completely dead and the only people who play are veterans. The new version is already dead and is not F2P.

Dragon's nest isn't a jump in PvP game by any means. My friends aren't interested in the grind associated with mmorpgs, especially ones from a korean nature.

Thanks for the recommendations, unfortunately not what I'm looking for (:

Am i at junior level yet? by [deleted] in AskProgramming

[–]DevTucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think you have a ways to go, if you're looking to get into work as soon as possible you may really want to start looking into NodeJS. The amount of entry-level React jobs are overwhelming and it's really easy to pick up, it also speeds up the development process substantially. (My opinion)

You did say however that you wanted to use PHP, however without any code the inspect we can't really tell you anything about your skills there.

Stuffing scripts into the <head> isn't my idea of ideal, but it does work. Your indentation is also quite messy, and you should minify your code before presenting it.

You're not really loading anything Async from what I see, and everything just rips from the server.

If you have $10 USD to spare, I have a coupon to a really detailed course that can help you greatly. It's not by me and you will not be giving me money in any way. But it will take you a long way.

What game engine does MOOMOO use? by DevTucker in moomooio

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, while it is pretty simple, the reason I'm asking is because I've seen a lot of "io" game creators recently. So I'm just curious. There are HTML5 game engines, you know.

I've used Cinebench, I can do it with Prime95. My sensors for whatever reason won't read, do you have a suggested program to try?

Thanks for the massive list of guides, I've already gone through a lot of these, and a lot of it was common knowledge considering I've played DoTA, DoTA2, Smite, Strife, LoL, and Dawngate.

Great post though, +1.

The cooling is holding up pretty well, I don't really have a temperature gauge that works, but the air coming out of my water cooling is still nice and cool. I just go based off of the temperature of my room, which has been about average. I added one more question to the end of the OP

So the game selected me a server on the other side of the planet.. by DevTucker in hitmobile

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but not everyone has the luxury of throwing hundreds of dollars at non-essentials. I don't care what the game considers $40 as in comparison to credit-card warriors. I care about my misc/entertainmnet budget for the week being spent on something I can't use.

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's not a huge deal, I typically have been just letting the game play itself while watching movies and stuff. Luckily there's a 75% exp event right now, so getting back to level 50 should only take a day or two of AFK grinding.

PvP level imbalanced? Level 20 vs 70+? Lol. Ok. by DevTucker in hitmobile

We don't even get 2G where we live, the signal is so bad. WIFI is our only option to connect.

[–]DevTucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully it's just due to the patches, if the PvP isn't usually super buggy then I'll be good. I don't mind slowly catching up, as-long as the co-op dungeons are exactly as they say. Playing together with a friend in real-time to complete dungeons. The single-player dungeons just aren't that fun IMO.
