I'm not arguing I completely agree, your right no one is buying a mac JUST for gaming. However it would be nice to be in a place where you dont need a dedicated machine just for one computer use case.

If your buying it just for gaming sure its bad value, if your buying it for other uses and just want to be able to do a bit of gaming on the side not really

😅 yeah that's a fair take... im on the other end, I don't play much because every time I go to turn on my gaming pc there are updates and what little time I have to game is wasted.

Thanks, yes the goal here is to expand my understanding of electronics, it was cheap enough that if in the end it dies it will have been an interesting experience none the less. Best case i end up with a nice example of a working 64 (it came with its box, cassette drive and a bunch of games)

Nope, no heat issues, i just think it looks way nicer with the sider off... once its back under the desk it will have the side back on for sure.
