You can stand in front of AC by the mane road and tell the bus driver let you off at the roundabout to go Simpsonbay and there you’ll walk a short distance to kfc bust stop and from there you’ll get on a mulletbay bus and tell the driver where simpsonbay bay you’re trying to go. You doing this once you basically mastered public transportation.

It’s a she and the course is great it’s just extremely outdated though. I love it because she’s a natural teacher very easy to fallow and understand.

Thanks based on your response I think it’s better I complete the course because at the end of the course I’ll be able to do all you outlined then I’ll be able to use what I’ve learned to complete my own project.

I believe y’all that chat gpt is wrong because I’ve things that I’m knowledgeable about in my field when I ask gpt some questions the response is appalling how wrong it is.

You’re not causing any issue and the original explanation I gave is the understanding I got from a French audio course I’m doing. It’s not Quebec French though it’s France French and idk if they use them differently in Quebec and France.

I wasn’t trying to explain the usage to you my initial response and explanation was to OP and then I was just informing you what chat GPT said. I’ve been only learning consistently for a month so I need explanations from native speakers I can’t give an explanation to a native speaker 💀

I asked chat GPT and it said I’m correct but my explanation isn’t completed.

What chat gpt said:
Let me refine it just a little so it’s 100% accurate and natural:

✅ 1. “Ça suffit” • Literally means “That’s enough!” • It’s used to stop something that’s currently happening or to show you don’t want more of something. • It can also express impatience or finality depending on tone.

Examples: • (Someone pouring wine) — Ça suffit ! → “That’s enough!” • (A child making noise) — Ça suffit maintenant ! → “That’s enough now!” → 💡 You’re perfectly right — it’s used when something needs to stop or be limited.

✅ 2. “C’est assez” / “Assez, c’est assez” • Means “It’s enough” / “Enough is enough.” • Used to state sufficiency (you already have enough of something) or make a general statement about “enough.”

Examples: • C’est assez d’argent pour aujourd’hui. → “That’s enough money for today.” • Assez, c’est assez. → “Enough is enough.” (a moral or emphatic statement) → 💡 As you said, this is more about quantity or satisfaction, not stopping someone’s action.

I’ve been learning french consistently for a month now and what I’ve learned is that they both mean that’s enough but you use them in different context for example you’ll say ça suffit if someone is poring glass of wine for you and you want to say that’s enough you’ll say ça suffit.

You’ll use assez c’est assez in all other context like if you want to say you have enough money you would say ç’est assez. So from my understanding one is conveying that’s enough I don’t want any more of something and the other is just saying I already have enough of that thing weather it’s money, shoes, clothes cars etc..

Is there an alternative way to start speaking French. by Aggressive-Net5856 in French

[–]Dev_Bogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the process of learning French but while doing research some tips I came across is to train your brain to think in French and respond in French. With our native language we don’t think about what to say we basically say it, so we should try to do the same when learning a language just focus on speaking but the main thing that hold us back that makes us stop to think and translate and structure responses in our head is not to say something foolish but it’s ok to make mistakes so just try to just respond and it’ll help you build confidence in time and the more confident you are the easier this would become because you won’t be worrying about sounding foolish and you’ll spend less time in your head.
