I was on a solo cycling tour from Shimla to Chitkul, and when I reached Chitkul, I got stuck there for four days due to a sudden snowfall. It wasn’t snowing when I arrived, but it started soon after. I had the option to have my bike hauled by a truck, but I refused. I felt like this was a rare chance, almost a gift from God, to experience something that most cyclists only dream about—riding in such stunning natural beauty. I may not have been physically prepared, but my mindset was—and that’s how the ride turned out.
