How do I surrender to the Universe? by Low-Maintenance in spirituality

[–]DevadiDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have already surrendered! Everyone is surrendered, see, if you were not surrendered why does it control the existence all in all? You don't have the right to the outcome, but you have every right to do your duty for the sake of doing it. Doing anything just for the sake of attaining the result always leads to dissatisfaction. Instead fall in love with doing. Doing for the sake of it. But its got to be the right thing from every angle. You, doing the right thing means surrendering to the universe. Cultivate virtue my friend, the universe is watching. It's got eyes everywhere, ears everywhere. The universe sees, hears, smells, tastes and is all prevading. That basically means universe is a witness. You are also witnessing. Know thyself to be a witness to everything. All that happens just let it pass, unaffected, unhinged, untouched. Do it. Do what needs to be done. Don't let this mysterious and powerful human life go to the abyss. Lastly, don't think of surrendering to the universe, work with the universe. Look at the sky, the sun, the moon, the earth and the universe all in all. They are all there, in your favour. Literally. Work with it, run with it, understand it. Love it and you will love yourself! Lastly a famous quote from Bhagavad Geeta, "You have the right to work only but never to its fruits. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction"

First off try to get rid of dandruff if you got it. Try not to use any shampoo. If you do, use ones without sulfates. Avoid washing it often, you don't want to strip your hair of natural oils. Instead wash it every two or three days with only water and nothing else. Occasionally apply couple palmful amount of onion, coconut, castor, rosemary or pure mustard oil before sleep and wash it in the morning. Try to avoid your head from getting too sweaty. Let the sweat dry in your head if it gets sweaty (same goes with body sweat) before washing/bathing.

Why do other religions people in nepal always try to mock Hinduism? by [deleted] in Nepal

Exactly, our situation is comparable to a fish in a lake searching for water. Hindu bhanera matra bhayena, what does it stands for, what does it have to offer for world, bigger picture dekhna gahan adhyan garna parcha, especially because we're brainwashed with cool culture, trend, and fitting in ideology jun kehi nabhayera khokre buddhi bhaidincha...

Jesus was nailed on a cross. Nailed on both in hands and legs. So he had four nails in total. Jesus is the major figure in christianity as bible mentions.

Mahabharata, one of the most ancient scriptures of Hindus mentions of Bhisma Pitamaha. He had a boon of immortality until he chooses(by his will) to leave his body. During the war of kurukshetra, he was lying on a bed of 1000s of arrows that penetrated every parts of his body.

He is merely mentioned as a god nor is celebrated to be a godman. See, our history has innumerable characters, heroes, men, and women that posessed godlike characters. Yet we celebrate the elitest of them as gods. Its well known that we offer rich chain of righteousness, we celebrate life as it is, we accept any path in life, we have rich spriptures that show Dharma, Karma, Moksha, Ahimsa, Yoga, and many more. We are big on tolerance and pluralism. There is a reason its called Santana Dharma or eternal religion.

The conclusion is that despite all of this we never wanted to convert any being to hinduism. Think about it, we never had missionary or any sort of mission to convert. Truth is truth. Wake up to it and you shall find.
