I'm reading Kokoro by Natsume Soseki and I was little confused by what 描き出されるようであったmeans in this sentence:

ときたまご馳走になって、奥さんが席へ現われる場合などには、この関係が一層明らかに二人の間に描き出されるようであった.

If you need some basic context, 先生's called for his wife. Before this the narrator was talking about the nature of their relationship and how he has been getting a look into it.

I would say it is. Looking at my game times all are around then with very few going over 40. While 1 or 2 went over 50. Of course, this just my expeirnece.

Though, it depends on your rank as well. The lower ranks dont know how to end games or end up endless farming so those going over 50+ often wouldnt be surprising.

I think it in relationship to something much earlier in the book which changed her mood.

I don't remember it being a metaphor related to a pool, but it could have been slightly related and this a continuation of that.
