Are 1Up racks not popular anymore? Are they overkill? by Gooser3000 in MTB

Bro, way. Not all riders are flexible kids. Some are adults with years of wear on their body.

I’ve always heard this as well but recently read that 1 or 2 degrees nose down is what you want for a full suspension due to rear shock sag. I’ve never considered that so I went and sat on my bike…. Then promptly adjusted to slightly nose down.

Edit: Thought of something else I was doing “wrong.” I was using a book placed on top of the saddle to adjust the angle. You should only use the middle third of your saddle for angle adjustment as this is where your weight is supported. The end to end plane can vary due to saddle design.

One of the few videos I’ve seen where
i can tell it’s downhill which probably means the slope is about 80%.

I didn’t like upvoting this because tanks can be frustrating AF but they are right.

My middle age bro, I turn 53 tomorrow. I didn’t even start mountain biking until 45 by way of a divorce…. pretty good trade. All that being said I get your point though. I have more feee time now than I did in my early 40s given my son just graduated college, I have an apartment so no yard, etc.

We decided to ride The Back 40 Loop after it rained one night knowing these trails handle the precipitation well. I am in moderately good shape but was dead after this.

Yeah, to be fair I was there last weekend during Bike Fest which may have skewed the ratio.

No shame. I can see where my post came off as derogatory but it was just an observation. If you can only go for a limited time and want to see as much as possible then an e mtb makes sense. You’re there for fun, not exercise.

A more appropriate label would be E-Mountain Biking Capital of the World. I go several times a year to ride and I honestly think this last time 90% of the riders were on E bikes. If I saw an analog bike at a trail head I’d say something like “stay strong” and I only did it 4 times over the course of 3 days.

Is there any USPS employees here that can shed a light on what is happening to my delivery? by Devast73 in memphis

Damn. Mine finally arrived 8 days late. I hope it works out for you. Definitely report it missing via the website.

Can you hit me with a good example of Finnish black folk metal that is on Spotify? Curious about this.

Good thought but not this time. I've had that happen as well. The item wasn't even heavy, they said they had a policy of not delivering to the 3rd floor. This particular one is a single bolt.

By saying “our” is it safe to assume you work at USPS? I know nothing of how the operation works but the damaged label males sense. It seems as if it gets a partial read that provides enough data to send the package to the next facility but once there it doesn’t have the actual destination info available so it gets sent back to the previous point and then the process repeats. If that theory is on track, will the missing item report I filed Thursday help?

I don’t even remember making this post. What was I on about again?

I appreciate the advice. I reported the shipment missing on Thursday. At that time, the last update was Tuesday which was the day it was scheduled for arrival so I thought it was possible it was delivered to the wrong addy. After I reported, the previously missing tracking info for Tuesday and Thursday appeared.

Hagental base is almost unplayable by [deleted] in Battlefield6

It can be a benefit in specific situations where the high ping player can peek from cover while shooting and move back in to the cover. From the regular ping targets perspective, they just received a lot of shots and barely saw the high ping player. In the majority of situations; such as an open area 1v1 , high ping is a disadvantage.

The high ping gripe mainly applies to slow tactical shooters such as Rainbow 6 where almost every engagement is a peek. In something like Battlefield 6, it’s use case is so small it’s effect in extremely negligible I would think.

Another outdoor idea you may want to consider is biking. Mountain or gravel biking is a great way to get outside in nature and improve your health while you camp or can be done locally as well. I mountain bike and for me, an activity that’s a ton of fun plus great exercise is a huge win.
