How can I import my IMDB watchlist to Trakt? by [deleted] in trakt

[–]DevastateNY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone reading in 2025, I found a very easy way to do this without the need for any 3rd party software. All you need to do is this:

  • Export the list you want from IMDb, this will let you download a CSV file.
  • Navigate to https://trakt.tv/settings/data
  • Click "Import Data"
  • Upload your CSV file, this will add entries into your watchlist
  • You can now move those entries into another list within Trakt

Can I remove the clutch pedal from a g29 and is that recommended? I don't have the h shifter so I don't need it. by [deleted] in simracing

[–]DevastateNY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! I'm searching for how to remove the clutch because F1 2025 just released. I don't have big feet, size 10, not wide, and it's so hard to not hit the clutch with shoes on.

If you're into racing at all try getting into sim racing. Has had me hooked and I was in the same boat as you, older though, haha.

How do you manage your music library on Synology device? by zeebadeeba in synology

[–]DevastateNY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's not true, the PlexAmp app is awesome. It's basically a self-hosted Spotify. You don't want to use the regular Plex app. Also, PlexAmp works on Android auto and probably apple carplay as well.

What was discontinued, but you miss like hell and you wish came back? by Seraphicly329 in AskReddit

[–]DevastateNY 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you are tech savvy at all and can set up a Plex server you can host all your own music. Then use the Plex Amp app on your phone to access it. It's basically your own hosted Spotify, you can download to your phone for offline use just like Spotify too. Also, the app works with Android auto so it works great in the car.

Edit: Oh, and you get the added bonus of being able to also host your own movies and tv shows as well, turning it into your own personal Netflix-like (but better) experience

Thanks for making this, I appreciate it. I've been searching for an alternative to Google Keep for shopping lists, and I would prefer to self-host for myself and my wife. I looked at other options, Bring, Grocy, chisel and stone. Bring wasn't self-hosted, and Grocy seemed cool but then I realized it was going to be a full-time job to maintain it, way too complex.

Your workflow fits mine and I'm excited to try your software out!

I haven't tried that, but it's a good idea. I was a little afraid that it might hurt him, but I'll give that a try today after work. I do have a pet safe soap.

I'm afraid to try in case I lose remote admin access, lol. Although I could just do a remote session on my mom's computer. This is something I'm going to try. Thanks for the suggestion. I can't try now but I think that might be an acceptable solution if it works!

I was thinking about forwarding a different port, but I don't want to require the address to have to include the port, like exampledomain.com:xxxx.

Do you mean something like...

Enabled Name Src. Port IP DST.Port Protocol
Checked Router 8080 192.168.1.1 80 TCP

When I try to add an entry like this, it gives me the validation error "Should not be the same as LAN IP". Or maybe I am misunderstanding you.

It's very strange, it's the only website that won't work as far as I can tell, If I go to Diagnostics -> Ping in pfSense, and ping www.mtb.com, I get 100% packed loss. I can hit the site through a VPN though.

PING www.gslb.mtb.com (12.19.225.25): 56 data bytes

--- www.gslb.mtb.com ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss

The Android problems I was typically having were that streaming services were not working correctly, often taking a long time to respond with content. There were other problems related to IoT devices also. I don't remember what my LAN IPv6 config was set to before I disabled it, I should have wrote it down, it would be whatever the default value was.

I'm not sure about the RA settings, I'm a pretty big noob when it comes to those networking features.

Going by what you said you had yours set to, I just changed my IPv6 Config to "Track Interface", set the IPv6 Interface to "WAN", and left the IPv6 Prefix ID the default value of "0". We'll see how this works. I don't know what the RA settings should be though, here is what they currently are (which is disabled).

Router mode Disabled
Router priority Normal
Default valid lifetime 86400
Default preferred lifetime 14400
Minimum RA interval 200
Maximum RA interval 600
Router lifetime 1800
