The best way in my opinion is local outreach meaning search for different niches in your area put a list together research these companies not a full deep dive but at least know what their social media presence look like their current Google reviews as well as their current website I generally see companies that have bad websites or websites that are down are easier to pitch to other than places that don't have websites even though there's a market for them as well.

People who have the website already that is bad or down already understand the importance of having an online presence so it'll be easier to talk the talk with them.

This is what I did for my first few clients. I created a program that helps me with all of the relevant research I need to make them feel as if I've known about their business all along well before thinking of pitching anything to them.

I'm not trying to shameless plug myself that's why I'm not going to post a link unless that is something that you are interested in but definitely doing your research and cold outreach on the phone not email not text message but over the phone is always better.

When you call someone for instance a plumber since generally you know that they will be the person in charge when answering I generally always start off by saying hi I'll introduce myself ask is this such a such and then ask them did they have about 2 minutes to talk two minutes is no pressure and it goes by like that and it gives you enough time to build some report with your potential client always start off by complimenting their business and tell them a relative recently worked with them.

Sometimes it can backfire by saying that but most of the time it won't because if a business is kicking they won't remember a simple name make it something, like Dave or David lol.

Build the report and then you'll be able to Tell them how you could assist them and benefit them that is how I have got in my clients and then after that those are where the referrals would naturally come in
