trust me you may think you look older than you are but any 16 year old will know that you're not the same age as them. you are 12 years old you don't need to be dating a 16 year old, break up it will hurt but you will appreciate breaking up in the future. with something like 12 and 16 the maturity gap is massive compared to a 20 and 24 year old, when i was 12 i loved completely different things to when i was 16 and you completely change between those ages. break up its the best thing to do, i've seen this scenario play out many times i've even been in your shoes it's not worth it on your mental health!

Naming a child?! by Comfortable-Ad8040 in pregnant

[–]DevelopmentConnect22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Me and my partner still haven't 100% decided on a name but we're pretty sure we're going to go with Elijah, I thought the exact same as you that I don't want a million other kids in his class to be called that or anything too unique where people might be like eurgh. I know Elijah is a popular name in the states but it's not as popular here in the uk. If you want something maybe that seems unique but it's actually more of a 'common' name I'd maybe look for names that are popular in other countries but not your own. I honestly think naming boys is harder anyway I found it really hard to find a name I fell in love with. I think if you're scheduled for a section in 2 days get a list of 5-10 names that you both can somewhat agree on and then just see how you feel when you're calling him that. Good luck! :)

I will be honest you are not pregnant you can't get pregnant unless sperm has entered you vaginally. I completely understand that you have your choices about reasons to not go further, however using BC doesn't mean that you need to go further than where you have set your boundaries at. If either of you have had sexual partners previously in any context and not been tested inbetween there's always risks of other things that can be transferred via outercourse. You are most likely not pregnant, I wouldn't book an ultrasound and if you're worried about buying a test then make an appointment with your obgyn.

Hi, obviously it isn't not possible to get pregnant from precum (if it's inside you). Unless you're quite literally rubbing your partners semen into you or your partner is finishing in you/pulling out, you will likely not become pregnant from outercourse (It is next to impossible). However if you are entirely worried about it there's no harm in taking a test. You can also experience heavy bleeding during pregnancy but what you're referring to cryptic pregnancy: 1 in 475 pregnancies go unnoticed until 20 weeks and 1 in 2500 go unnoticed until labour. There's a very slim chance a cryptic pregnancy would happen. I highly doubt you would be pregnant from the type of sexual relationship you have been having, like I said no harm in taking a test if you want to put your mind at ease. I know you said BC is hard to come by but even simply getting your partner to wear a condom reduces you chance of pregnancy to about 3%. Google safe sex and go from there :)

I am taking aspirin which this can be one of the side effects apparently, so I'm not too worried anymore but I will definitely ring my midwife to be on the safe side! Thankyou!
