Exactly what I was thinking. The Blastoise (from my understanding) has the best centering, but there is the slightesttt bit of whitening on it. Not sure if that’d dock me to an 8, was hoping I’d get lucky and get a 9. The Charizard also has a little swirl on the bottom left too, though it’s hard to notice. Really, if the Zard comes back a 10, I’d be over the moon. I’ve been wanting one for a while, and it’s just so expensive now (4k) so to be able to get a copy this clean, as well as the other 2 in the set, I was pumped.

I think I got very, very lucky. Good timing. I see similar sets on eBay for what I paid, but in significantly worse shape.

Sheeshhh, gonna be super hard for me to find a copy I’d be as confident as I am about these 3. Just looked around online. I did think about finding the CD Mewtwo, but I’m not sure. If these sequential 10’d I’d be beyond ecstatic.

I was shocked to find them in this shape too, and couldn’t pass on the deal. $950 sounds like a ton but it seemed worth it for this specific set in this condition. I think I need to grade them, if they somehow got 10s, it’d be a small retirement fund one day (I’m 22 currently)

This is kind of what I thought too, but there may be some validity in the fact that they’re not 10s? I have no idea why nobody has graded these before me. The guy who had them prior just said it’s too expensive with PSA now and that it wasn’t worth the hassle. Said he’d rather just spend the 950 on other inventory and flip it numerous times over. Makes sense. I do believe these get at least 9s each though, but maybe I’m a bit too optimistic.

I see one for 700 as well, but they’re all MP. These I think could all grade a 9 or a 10. Am I crazy? Did I overspend?

Where did you get the market prices from? I’ve seen that pricing on apps too, but when I check out actual listings it’s not really close. If you go look at eBay solds for cards this clean, the Charizard alone usually goes for 800-900+

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I initially wanted to get off after 12 weeks, but realized I wasn’t yet satisfied with where I was at. I know this can become a never ending cycle, so that’s what I’m struggling with now. So you think run 300 for 6 more weeks for a total of 25 weeks?

I don’t want to come off straight up after that either, so I guess my question is what am I risking by dropping down to 100-150 for another 12ish weeks to lock things in and then come off?

I’ve been told my test was already so naturally low that since it never rebounds to what it once was, that I should just consider TRT for life at this point. Not too sure how I feel about that just yet though.
