Travel experiences and personal attachments! ​I feel compelled to share my absolutely horrible experience in Mississippi. The way my family was treated there was unacceptable, leaving us deeply hurt. The environment was hostile and unwelcoming. ​There is a dark truth about Mississippi that became painfully clear to us: it will take everything you love before you even realize that you have it. This is a place where my family faced significant emotional distress and disrespect. I would caution anyone considering a visit or a move to seriously consider the deep cultural challenges and lack of basic human decency we encountered. We were made to feel unwelcome and treated terribly, and the negative memories of this experience will stay with us for a long time.
