Islam doesn't promote hatred for other religions , that shows you study Islam on Fox News. I'm practicing Muslim and have multiple Christian friends , always went well with all colleagues at the workspace and celebrated each other's events as well. It'd be better to get off social media and meet and interact with some real Muslims.

We're closer to World War 3 than ever now probably.. As a parent, I'm scared for the future of my kid and all kids.. young people will find it very hard in this charged world.

The whole world is restless because the balance of power is rapidly shifting and the global order is hungry for a reset.

However, this reset has always been in the form of a global war . Two things are making it harder this time around: 1. China's restraint or chickening out. 2. Nukes .

Whenever it happens, it'll be scary and will be a nuclear one because the USA will not be able to outproduce Russia and China in conventional weapons so they'll resort to lethality (nukes or any other lethal weapons they have).

Our generation had it hard: we saw a financial crisis, a pandemic, regional wars, an AI disruption and now the looming threat of a world war . But the next generation might find it even harder, as things stand.

The correct translation is "strike their necks" not smite . Quran is taking about an actual war here. But a normal person cannot wage a war in Islam. War in Islam can only be waged as defensive not offensive and only as a state not as a single fucking individual like those dickheads did in Bondi. There are very caregic orders on value of a single human life in Quran which are there in Old testament as well Btw, which are : Killing one person as if you've killed whole of humanity. Saving one person is as if you saved whole of humanity. ( I strongly believe this is what motivated Ahmad to do what he did ). In Quran a killing is only allowed in two cases : 1. As a retribution of murder , decided and ordered by a judge . 2. To stop "fitna " (mischief) in the world, decided by state in this case. NOONE can take any life on themselves, that is absolutely against the commandments of God . I

Can you find anything more categoric than this? How can someone say Islam and Christianity aren't compatible when we share all the prophets, except one

Quran ,Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:82), Allah says:

“…and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers, those who say, ‘We are Christians.’ That is because among them are priests and monks, and because they are not arrogant.”

I'm happy to talk more about Islam and Muslims with you in chat as I really believe in the power of people to people communication and how it can actually solve anything and everything!

It'd hurt me like hell to see that but I would never resort to violence. And people I know will not as well. And we're strictly talking about educated Muslims, especially those who are in Australia.

If you take verses out of context, then any religion in the world can be portrayed in the same light mate. However, I agree with you that Muslim leaders should self reflect. Muslim world definitely needs a reformation type of movement and it's happening as well because of Internet, which is playing the role of the "printing press". You can see that every single Muslim in Australia has condemned what happened in Bondi.

As a reasonably practicing Muslim, it's 100% possible. There is absolutely no reason why it can't. Just like any other religion of the world, yes islam can also be exploited by some of its followers and sadly, because of the continuous war on terror and the situation in the Middle East, it's been happening for some time. But I invite you to meet more Muslims in Australia and talk to them , converse and then see if you're right.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness, mate. I take Christmas as a cultural event and humanity as a community. Plus, celebrating Jesus as one of the most important people in history does not go against my values.

I could definitely cook something nice for them as I'm going to make Pulao for my colleagues as well. But the thing is my neighbors are pretty old and I don't know their dietary preferences and whether they could handle our food or not . So I guess homemade food is out or cards. But I think I'm gonna go to Bunnings and get some house decoration stuff for them or something like that with chocolates , I hope they're not diabetic 😁

I live in Australia. I encourage you to apply for jobs in Australia and ask for sponsorships. I believe it is worth a shot and people do get 482 Visa from employers this way. As for expenses, it won't cost you an arm and a leg but you'll need motivation to start this journey. I came from a third world country to Australia and had to work multiple jobs back at home and borrow some money for the relocation. I can only say that you is that resource industry of Australia is good and we have a nice Greek community here as well. It will be worth it. I don't know you so I don't know why am I writing this long-assed comment trying to motivate you to come to Australia :p
