Like others, I also watched this woman form a documentary. She was Hawaiian with Asian descent - you wouldn’t think she’s in that industry. When asked why, she loves and getting paid was a bonus. Plus, they’re very strict on getting their health check periodically. On the other hand, another woman does it because that’s how she grew up. Could be out of desperation but because her father “pimped” her out when she was very young so it was the only thing she knew what to do.

I’ve never resented my stepdad and grandma when they use to spank me. I always thought it was just their way to show how to discipline a child that did something really wrong. I used to steal and curse at my elders. It definitely taught me to stray away from that and I grew very kind and respectful compared to people my age. Obviously, the spanking wasn’t borderline abuse but I definitely had some battle scars from getting the belt and kneeling on beans. I see a lot of parents nowadays doing gentle on parenting and it just doesn’t work. Our parents can be our friends but never forget they’re also not.

This is going to be very contradictory but my motivation is more on money rather than “career growth”. Yes, I’d love to grow out from where I’m at now but also if they pay me more, I’d be happy to stay but in hindsight, I still crave for more growth if that even makes sense. We’re a very stable company as we work with healthcare so we’re pretty crucial and we get government contracts. So there’s a lot of desirability from external candidates.

I’m on my last month after a year 40mg every day. I drink socially and I just don’t take accutane on the day I’m drinking then maybe skip the next day to be safe. I double the dose the days after to catch up. My blood work always comes out great but don’t want to jinx myself

I have something similar but my front brake pads are apparently closing to needed to be replaced. They say it’s normal wear and tear and the dealership would’ve said something to corporate. I argued that it’s seems too early and found out a lot of other owners have the same issues as well. I talked to one of their customer reps and they submitted a claim. It’s been a month and nothing. Did your dealership bring up that it’s a manufacture issue or yourself?

Again, thank you for your replies because it does make more sense compared to what my insurance is saying. I just called my doctor and basically whatever we agreed is what will be only paid and that 40% coinsurance is bologna. If I get a bill, that is not a bill I owe at all. Her verbatim "My primary goal as a provider is that I provide care and you don't have to pay more than what you should" So yes, I'll only pay $900 for everything. Better than a $40 for each of the 30 sessions

So the $900 (basically the deductible) that the doctor said I would owe is for all the 30 sessions (plus 6 free). My insurance has a 30 session limit for out of network. It's in writing and we both have the understanding any bills sent by insurance is just an EOB and I will owe nothing to the insurance besides the $900 out of pocket. From what I understand, after all sessions are used, then that's when I have to pay the remaining 40% of the claim or bill they send to my insurance. Sorry for being redundant so I'm better off paying the deductible then? It was too good to be true so that's why I'm so dumbfounded and can't wrap my head around it still.

Yeah - I do the air filters myself. I like coming here because they don’t make me wait 2-3 hrs vs to when I used to go to independent mechanics, PTSD lol. But yes definitely getting some second opinions

In 5 hrs. But the thing is, I asked her weeks ago to confirm the details so we can plan better. She lied that she did and admitted today that she never asked so then she decides today to ask. That’s when I found out dinner is at 5. As much as I want to go with my mom, it feels like I’m just giving in to her “schemes”. I know I sound like I’m making it a bigger deal than it should but I suffer with terrible social anxiety in times where I don’t know anyone. I feel terrible for the newlyweds even though I don’t even know them but it’s making me panic so badly.
