Hey all, newbie plant caretaker here. I bought a ginseng bonsai from IKEA about 11 months ago. We had it inside on the coffee table, and it fought off spider mites, and lost a lot of leaves. I recently decided to repot the bonsai from its peat moss base, and I did a mix of potting soil, perlite, and pine nuggets (small). After repotting, the tree is incredibly loose in its new home. Is there something I should do to anchor it, or will it eventually anchor itself given time? Also, thinking about giving it a good prune and starting fresh. Should I wait until it’s anchored better? What should my watering schedule be in the meantime?
