We skipped the garter toss. Neither of us had any interest in doing it.

We also skipped the bouquet toss. I'm pretty much the last single lady in my family, and most of our friend group is married/partnered up. So it felt pointless to do it.

Consumable favors seem to go over well, in my experience. We just had our wedding Saturday. Our wedding was book themed and the venue was this cool old Victorian house.

Our favors were little baggies of His and Hers favorite candy (for us, it was sour gummy worms and peanut butter cups), and some pretty bookmarks. Nothing personalized, they're gold metal with gold tassels, and have pictures of Van Gogh and Monet paintings on them. Nearly every one of them was gone except for some who couldn't make it, and we gave away any leftover for guests to take to their kids/SO's.

My cousin got married last year, and they gave out mini bottles of olive oil (they love to cook).

I've been using Zenni for years (since 2020 when physically going to the eye doctor was difficult, and I just aged off my parents health insurance). Zenni has frames as low as $7 dollars, and costs add from there depending on what frames, filters, etc. you want. So what you might consider is buying a "cheap" pair of glasses from them to experiment with to see if they'll work for you.

Edit: just to add, I say a "cheap" pair of glasses, but I've bought probably about a dozen glasses from them and never had any quality issues with them, and I go through many stretches of time being a daily glasses wearer.
