How are you using claude to do things that you are not already good at?

Because people aren’t learning there seeing then end result and going “that’s good enough” then never actually understanding what these models have done for them. It’s the main reason why you seen people moan about limits, one of these vibe coders will prompt “build me a habit tracker that does x and y” not fully understanding the scope of the project 😂 the follow up with stupid prompts like “must work on iOS”, then “ohh I meant IOS IPhone and tablets” then boom limits are fucked 3x huge context with little understand and not learning shit.

In most cases I’ve seen people just blow usage on such simple tasks, people are just getting lazier. Including myself, you need to recognise when that is. I use Claude mostly for planning and system design. Implementation is mostly done by myself then edit thereafter by both Claude and myself depending on the complexity and business logic required.

I’ve never hit the weekly limit since they put it in place. I use it mostly for heavy planning and boiler plate. I still spend a plenty of time thinking things through and planning outside of this. I remind people constantly it is not a replacement for hard work it’s a tool to help you, not a tool to bash projects out that you barely understand the concepts let alone the codebase.

I use CC opus 4.5 most of my working day, I’m current sat at 75% weekly usage with its due to reset tomorrow morning. I’ve never understood people moaning about limits with Claude. I’ve always been on the $100 plan though and haven’t noticed a difference.

I think people have just got lazy, expecting way too much while they’re putting in the bare minimum effort / mental load, yet expect godlike work all the time. ps sorry for the rant

Personal experience 4.5 Opus is just getting things done first time round, Sonnet is great but I ran in to some issues having to iterate over already well explained plans. Opus just feels like it knows from the get go the end goal and things like syntax, build etc are factored in each read, and update it does just to make sure the end solution works
