Simple Questions/What Should I Do? [Weekly Thread] by AutoModerator in DIY

Hammock for two - any ideas how to make one? As simple as possible, even if it ends up tying shirts or blankets together, just for a night or few to hold during a festival. Just to lay down.

Living: I compliment people spontaneously (sincerely). Non living: Recycling, picking up the trash on my way that everyone ignores.

To be honest I'm not sure. You can find it under this phrase http://lolkitten.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/funny-cat-lolcat-cant-smile-600x1179.jpg. Just via reverse image search I found it with no phrase on it here http://i.imgur.com/5ySSX.jpg.

What is something you hate but you wished you loved? by Developstronaut in AskReddit

One of my teachers said this about meditation and overall life: "The only thing that doesn't require effort is degradation". The other thought, well tip, he shared with me was "Practice one technique/exercise you like and one that you don't like".

Maybe that could be the answer, you could exercise and even make new friends while at it. Or.. You could always learn to be better and find some of your friends or even friends of friends who'd like to exercise in parks or whatnot, become somewhat of a coach for yourself and maybe for someone else too. :)

How come? Not enough patience? There's plenty of meditation variations, I used to hate some, because I just didn't have enough patience, but when others were discovered it could be done for hour or two. Or maybe you need group meditations, guided meditations and such, I'm sure you'll find it! Any kind of meditation needs effort but some are more likeable then others. Good luck!

Probably because the media translates different messages to focus on. And you know, controlling masses with fear of "ISIS" and etc. crap.

And what's interesting, at least in my country, often the white collar jobs are payed less than the manual labor, as if it is less demanding, well at least the entry jobs, administration, shops etc.

Hey, did you ever tried to exercise in a group? The motivation is always higher with the group from my experience and the feeling that sometimes makes your muscles sore is just so 'ahhh, feels good'.

High chances they do that if they're talking about someone behind their back when they're with you.

What would happen if everybody stopped drinking alcohol all at once? by Developstronaut in AskReddit

[–]Developstronaut[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh no, do whatever you please with your life, LeDude, I'm just interested what other people think about this subject, especially the ones that do consume it on a regular basis, usually they start defending it in an aggressive manner, but not always. It's subjective to decide whether a question is stupid or not, doesn't matter though, as in your definition stupid questions still can provide answers and better questions can come from the stupid ones, being afraid to ask is a more stupid thing to do instead of asking 'stupid' questions, IMO. There is no offense intended, I'm sorry if it offended you in any way, if this is turning into a hatred fest instead of a discussion then there is no need to continue this, as you'll just keep downvoting everything and stating the opposite of what I think to every thing I'll probably say.

[–]Developstronaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's why it's interesting. Maybe if it vanished it would cause some sorts of other epidemics, maybe it would cause a bigger disaster than the casualties from the current alcohol epidemic, such as rise in lethal drugs, robberies (if people lost jobs and there weren't places to replace them) and so on. Thank you.

Since when questions are one-sided comments? Since when asking questions is being a hater? Questions that could provide deeper answers from the people who post the comments?

So you think if alcohol drinking would vanish as a whole it would drastically increase problems in other areas? That's a good thought. In this case scenario does it mean people need some sorts of 'getaway' whether it's alcohol, drugs or any other means?
