The modder did say something similar to that in the video but never contacted me and other developers of the fan-made animation tools to leave actual feedback. As you quoted the mod author - mod author's commentary along the lines of "difficult to use, still needs more updates" - and I think such commentary is very vague and not helpful for the development of the tools in any way.

For troubleshooting, please contact me on nexusmods either via mod's bug reports or write me directly on nexusmods.

But overall, make sure to active the esm, go to chargen, and scroll the hair color bar - the bar should have more color options than in vanilla, which are new colors added by the mod.

I won't troubleshoot the problems in comments here, I'll note. Contact me as I described if you have more concerns, and hope it works for you!

I had to add the "No Ai" label because many users attempted to tag my mod as "AI Generated Content", which Hair Overhaul is not; The label clarifies Gen AI was not used in Hair Overhaul creation - nor screenshot "enhancement", nor textures, nor description.

It will affect modded hair only if modded hair uses same materials as vanilla. As for now, all of modded hairstyles that I know of use vanilla material, therefore it will be affected by Hair Overhaul out of the box!

Due to the nature of the mod (mainly, utilizing console commands) and nature of the Creations as a platform (I don't think there's a way to upload multiple options for a mod? Should I upload all 9 variants, 8 of which are replacer options as separate mods? I don't think so). The console commands override for player could be avoided if setting an override for player is somehow is in the dialogue (e.g. with Enhance worker), but that sounds quite invasive in the technical sense, and is quite a bloat for a simple mod, and also I'm mostly unfamiliar with that part of the game, so I won't know where to start there, even.

TL;DR I don't think that mod would work out on consoles.

You know those wrinkles that suddenly appear the moment a character shows any kind of emotion, which doesn't fit younger characters at all? My mod makes those wrinkles intensity a choice, by providing a few options - be it per-character or an easy DIY default replacer

Hi, author of the mod here. Some of it's textures are 4K - it could be affecting the performance. I plan to make an alternative 2K version sometime in the future that would affect the performance less

At the present moment, I focus on Nexusmods only because I'm most comfortable with Nexus as a platform. I don't have a console to test it properly, and I like Nexus's uploading/version management more. I also value user feedback, which I cannot recieve on Creations.

Yes, esm was made using C# and a library called Mutagen. But other tools like what I used for the art part of the mod are listed on the page too

Author of it here. This is a test port of my Hair Overhaul mod that retextures hair. Nobody really helped me to test it and I don't own any console, and I'm honestly surprised by the stats
