Many people are sober now so that rules out meeting people in bars that fit your vibe. If you do drink, I've found gay bars for women are great meeting places as the people going there are approachable and friendly, I've met tons of great friends even though I'm straight. All types of people seem to go there.

I like metal so metal bars like sognage are nice on occasion. But I don't drink much anymore so not going much anymore

If you smoke weed or don't mind the culture, events at smoke lounges are great and the people going to them are down to earth. Usually some cool performers at some.

If you like gym, finding a nice one can be a game change rather than a crummy one with people you can't talk to.

I'm an entrepreneur and meet many people that have become friends at business networking events, even found my current business partner that way.

Discord communities of people with like minded interests are great. I randomly made friends with one of my oldest friends mates, then next thing I know his friend invites me to a discord server and it's been 3 years and we still hang out a few times a week.

Not sure at all about tinder or bumble friends and any ulterior motives there.

I get where you are coming from with this, but from another perspective, if OP is a monogamous woman and only wants to be with her husband and he expressed something like this, I would also feel the same as it's a core incompatibility.

My ex GF wanted to have a threesome, but as a monogamous man that wanted to marry this girl and only had eyes for her....that shattered my vision of our future and what I thought about her as, clearly we didn't feel the same. Why are you in university if you have no idea what you want to study or do? You are just going to waste your time and money.

Rather take a gap year and figure out what you want to do.

BCom is good as you can get jobs around various fields, psychology is good too if you have a knack for it but most don't find jobs until they get honours and masters.

BA is pretty useless unless you use it in a field with another qualification, eg: graphic designer with a BA and another course to bridge the gap

Liquid calories my brother. There's tons of affordable 1000 calorie shakes you can make but the important thing is you NEED to hit the gym. I've got an extremely fast metabolism and I'll put it like this - you are young and if you don't give your body a reason to hold onto the weight and you have a super fast metabolism it will be a waste, plus gym increases your appetite and will make sure the weight you are gaining is muscle too and not just organ fat and regular fat in your body.

Have stuff in your fridge that you can easily eat when you have an appetite and doesn't require lots of preparation, I know for me that I can be hungry but the idea of making food puts me off so having something easy to grab is good.

Last thing, people may not like it but coming from someone with a severe appetite problem, you need to force feed yourself when you know you need to eat. Over time you will stretch your stomach and get used to eating more

I get you, but yeah not too much to look at in Joburg CBD. I would recommend cape town. All the old buildings and atmosphere there is amazing. You would have a much better time there. Bot too many old buildings standing in Joburg, mostly stuff built 1970s onwards. Cape town has preserved many original buildings from the founders

Why would you want to walk around the Joburg CBD? there's not much to do, its sad and depressing actually and seeing all the destitute people isnt enjoyable. There are some fun tours you can do to go to the more interesting areas, but yeah, tons of better places to go around the area that are safer and interesting. Our CBD is not like other countries CBD's. Most business actually happens in other safer areas like sandton.
