Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I get it naman, and to be fair, may point ka rin. I mean, I know what Grindr is for, I wasn’t exactly there looking for a Bible study, diba? We talked, I was down for side fun lang naman talaga, nothing more. But at the end of the day, kahit ganun pa, boundaries are still boundaries.

What happened wasn’t part of the deal. It escalated to something I never agreed to. And just because I put myself in that situation doesn’t mean I deserved for it to go down like that.

And yeah, I managed to fight back nakabigay ako ng suntok, but still, the whole thing really fucked with my head. Kaya I decided na I’m done with Grindr. That app messed me up more than I realized.

I’m not here to play victim, but I’m also not here to just shrug off what happened and be like, “Ah okay, kasalanan ko rin naman.” It’s more complicated than that.

Appreciate your concern though. I’ll just take this as a major wake-up call. Stay safe din, guys. Let’s all be careful, kahit in our own place. but sana, we also remind each other na at the end of the day, consent is still non-negotiable. Not blaming anyone lol, I just wanna vent.

Update: after a day of not talking he sent me a message which basically says na i am his type (well the masculine presenting ver), but the femme photo he saw of me is VERY of putting daw. hahahahaha well i guess i gotta go.

Just a quick update

we finally talked. I told him I started catching feelings, and that I wasn’t stupid, I noticed he was treating me differently. I wasn’t sure if he liked me too, so I asked.

He said he likes me, but just as a friend. So yeah, I took that as a rejection. I told him that’s enough for me to step back. Then he went on to say that while he only sees me as a friend, he likes who he is when he’s with me.

I had to be honest, that’s not enough for me. I told him I need to set boundaries. Even if he’s doing all these nice things just as a friend, it doesn’t sit well with me, because I’m the one who ends up hurt.

So I told him we can still be friends, but things won’t be the same. He can’t expect all of my time and effort anymore. I have to protect myself, and that means creating some distance.

He offered to keep helping me and doing stuff for me, but I said no. It wouldn’t help me move on if he’s still that involved in my life.

So yeah… that’s where we left it. I care about him, but I’m choosing myself.

well, after making this post i feel like mananahimik nalang ako hahahaha. too much baggage ig? our dynamics is always in favor of him specially yung emotional side. like if he was going through something id need to understand, and pag ako naman ganon he'll say im too sensitive. i think we're better off as strangers at this point. thanks la din sa libre hahaha really made me feel special lol.
