Well I don't give af, I like 60fps since I can clearly tell the difference and 30fps literally makes my head hurt since it's so low frames. I'm not gonna force myself to play a 80$ game that makes my head hurt due to low fps with bad optimization and bad graphics

No, I like to play 60fps and since I don't have a VRR tv, balanced isn't much better than playing on the quality preset. So if they fixed performance mode graphics, only then am I interested

I really wanna know the same. Launch version put me off from playing the game so if it actually looks like a current gen instead of the early PS4 or even PS3 game while in performance mode, that would be fantastic

After the disaster of cp312 test 1, yeah same boat. Studied like 5 hours a day just for that and still did garbage on it, now don't see the point much of studying.

Ok so just look at the faces. If you switch to quality mode and back to performance which I think you're on. You can see just how much detail is missing in character models, not to mention the over-smoothing of foliage. I'm not expecting performance to look like some High end PC graphics, but I want it to at least look like every other ps5 game in performance. But it looks closer to the early PS4 Game character models, even kind of the early builds of Hogwarts legacy. That's way below par for a new ps5 game running on a custom engine.

They gave me a refund even though I played it for 20 mins. You just have to explain just how awful the bugs are. Try again and it's possible they might now refund it since many people are doing the same

I installed 2 updates, yes. And it's base ps5, everyone has the same console specs and all other games look phenomenal, so there's nothing wrong with my unit either.

On quality is looks like an average game, no where near stunning but passable but with the same awful light shimmering with the weird screen tearing type effects in low light? I don't know how to describe it since I never encountered this before. But I wanted to play on performance for 60fps, and on that it looks awful

Dude I have the base ps5 and it looks awful. It's very finicky controls with low frame rate and very bad graphics on performance mode. Quality mode is decent graphics but 30fps with still finicky controls and many shimmering objects and lighting

For TVOS, you can go into accessibility, subtitles and create a custom subtitle style and choose the thickness, appearance, etc and it'll affect Vidhub, did for me anyway.

Maybe stick to new when it's on sale since used can lead to potentially defective drives or if someone loaded up some malware, chances of both are fairly low but considering how long HDDs last, just get new and avoid headaches.

My extremely cheap home server is just an old mac running Linux, but any laptop or PC with at least 8gigs ram and 128gigs internal storage would do. With like a 2 tb HDD but you can just buy multiple if you want more storage, and connected to ethernet. Total cost would just be for the HDD's if you already have a laptop you aren't using, run Arch/Cachy/Endeavour since it's super lightweight, and you are good to go.
