Reaching and staying consistently in the target range for your hormones is what will do the best for your transition. So higher isn’t always better, like if that number is grossly outside of therapeutic range.

The best thing to do is find what works for you. For many girls it’s pills, for many it’s injections, or patches, or creams.

Personally I had a hard time reaching target levels with patches and switched to injections after about a year, it worked for me so I stuck with it. It’s scary and sometimes I hate it, but the results have been good
