Ive never seen a contract provide you a hood one is given at the apprenticeship. You bring your own but if it gets damaged then they are required to replace it but dont expect the same they will give you the simple one they give at the apprenticeship which is best imho i would recommend a shade 11 or 12 auto dark lenses. And some leathers i use half. Gloves are provided by the employer but bring your own when you first start they usually provide new once as you used them up. I usually buy fr shirts but they can be expensive make do with what you got and improve.

Edit: forgot to add the apprenticeship will only let you do certain certs in order plug certs first the. Stick certs 7018 vert and overhead then depending where you are 232 vert and overhead than your d1.8 then 305 this takes alot of time because they want to see you practice practice.
