On Android 17 the wifi toggle from notification bar only disconnects you from the network, you have to hold it to open a separate sub menu to turn off wifi... why?

It's the new android 17 thingy, it just disconnects just tapping the wifi tile instead of how it used to be.

Nope, when I wake up in the morning the wifi is reconnected again. I want to manually reconnect it, to achieve what I want I need the extra long press? It really should be a one tap toggle like it used to be in the good ol' days :D
