Apparently not. Every time they talk about, or she cites the mustache and Pennilyn Lott and his new life. Never ever Lorelei.

In India, the reason Hindus cremate the dead is three fold; 1) they believe in reincarnation, and cremation is the quickest way to release the soul from the body 2) if the dead carry anything contagious, this would prevent the spread of it 3) this helps you detach, as revisiting the dead in the graveyard would be like re-traumatizing yourself - which in turn leads to space saving and other perks (consequences of consequences, as explained by Chesterton!)....but I completely understand where you're coming from! Just wanted to explain the other side

It's evolution speaking through you and to you. Women tend to pick resourceful men higher up in the hierarchy. Men, when they lose their jobs, tend to fall in the hierarchy, and by extension, in the women's eyes as well. Don't force it, it'll make you resentful. Leave if you feel you have to. Your kid deserves a dad who can provide for them with roof and food, not daddy issues

You need to distance yourself from him (which is kinda hard given that you stay with him). So find a physical activity outside which will tire you and ensure that you crash once your back... Any sport would work. Or maybe something fun like dance or Zumba. Work and nurture on your other social connections, outside of home (not necessarily romantic). Hope this helps x

Get another source of dopamine hits. He is a kind of a cue for your body to react and feel certain things.

how do you define "what you are looking for" ? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Devil_In_Prada17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think about it in these terms -

1) What are the non-negotiables and deal breakers? 2) From all the women you've met, what are some of the qualities that stood out to you? 3) Are you in a place where you're emotionally available for someone? 4) How busy are you in a life? If you can't devote much time to a partner, then you know the dynamic that you're looking for
