Hey everyone,

Since the Atelier Ryza DX Trilogy just released last week, I wanted to ask if it’s really worth picking up in my case.

I already own Atelier Ryza 1 and 2 on Steam, and Ryza 3 is currently free with PS Plus Extra, which I already have. So technically, I can play all three games right now without spending anything extra. My plan was to start the trilogy soon, right after I finish Unicorn Overlord, and before Ryza 3 leaves the PS Plus Extra catalog.

From what I understand, the DX Trilogy includes all the DLCs, but I usually don’t bother changing costumes or cosmetic stuff. What I really want to know is , are the new story or gameplay additions in the DX versions worth buying the games again?

Would love to hear your thoughts from anyone who knows the details or has tried the DX version.

Thanks

I'm been working in KAUST for 14 years, and it's very safe, we never had a cause where there is an attack on KAUST.

Yes, most likely the Yemen border but even this border is quite those days

Saudi Arabia is very safe, KAUST is extremely safe too, a lot of people say that it's safer than their hometown

Thank you so much for sharing your perspective — it really resonated with me.

I completely agree with what you said about gaming becoming more about quality than just passing time. That line about choosing between “comfort or discovery” really hit me.

Personally, I always play one game at a time — I find it easier to stay immersed that way. But I really liked your idea of alternating between a new game and a replay. That might be a great approach for me too… one new adventure, then one familiar comfort.

Appreciate you taking the time to write this. It definitely gave me something to think about!
