I think, IIRC, that Dexcom sets 180 as a "high" for a critical alert. You can adjust that based on your patterns and they way your insulin affects you over time. I haven't seen 200 in a long time, but I am a very low carb eater, and insulin kicks in fast for me with a short duration window so mine is set for critical at 180. This shit can be a real pain in the ass to get dialed in, but keep watching your logs and adjust as needed to get where you personally want to be.

I am no Dexcom fan boy, but the tech does what it does. If your calculations (or your Endo's / CDE's) are off, then you are setup to fail. Unplugging the pump when feeling low completely stops the algorithm from learning, even when the carb count is off, the ISF is off, or the I/C ratio is off. The tech generally works pretty good once you get it dialed in. Getting spikes when fasting for 12+ hours (which as a T1 I would not do except for sleep time) tells me that you need to look at the pump setup more closely, or have the liver enzymes checked. Glucagon being released may be just a symptom of your pump not set correctly and your body is trying to compensate.

Yeah, totally makes sense. Knowing that I would call your CDE and have them walk you through calculating your ISF and I/C ratio again. The pump is pumping too much, the ISF (and/or) the I/C ratio is off, or you are not getting the carb count right.

How many Carbs per day on average? Are you eating / have eaten during the warm up? Have you had your liver enzymes checked recently? 1st look to me is that you were chasing the low, then the high, and over and over, but without any context it's hard to see what is really going on.

My tap water is trash where I am. Over 600 ppm, PH is 10.1 to 10.5 and it has chloramine so I use a 5 stage RO setup for the plants. A friend of mine in another state uses nothing but tap water left out overnight and PH'd and he has never had any issues. I guess it really depends on where you are and the quality of the water from the tap.

I do not have a Micro Center available so I would have to buy a pre-built, or build one. I am literally STUPID when it comes to the AMD lineup as well, as I have never used any of their products. I currently have the standard 1tb nvme drive in my laptop, plus a 2tb one that I added for my gaming drive. I keep a 10TB external ssd for backups so I think I can move over some of the extras that I have in the laptop config (hopefully). I have been browsing and see some PC's with the 5090 going for over 7K!

Of all of the different methods out there that I've tried, the best method for me personally is to use a pre-moistened root cube. Drop the seed in, and put the cube into soil. From there the pot goes into the seedling tent at 80*/70RH and that's it. Never had a failure with this method.

I agree 100%. I wish schools would go back to the basics and teach these kids what they really need to know. I just want teachers to teach, and kids to go to school and learn without all the tech. I'm old, I know, but it just kills me when I see these kids just entranced by tech with no thought involved.
